Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

What They Say About SDA
"Smalldeadanimals doesn't speak for the people of Saskatchewan" - Former Sask Premier Lorne Calvert
"I got so much traffic after your post my web host asked me to buy a larger traffic allowance." - Dr.Ross McKitrick
Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
Too soon.
What? You realize that was satire, right? And pretty funny.
Well … the good news is that San Francisco Federal workers won’t have to come in on Monday … or Tuesday. Or Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday …
https://meaww.com/what-is-happening-in-san-francisco-right-now-workers-at-nancy-pelosi-federal-building-asked-to-work-from-home-due-to-out-of-control-crime
Seems as though Leftist policies have made it impossible to do much of anything in downtown SF.
How is the guy who delivers the mail supposed to work from home?
Email?
Sarc
You might be on to something. If you want to send a letter just send an email to your letter carrier and he will deliver it for you … via email. Kind of brilliant in a government employment opportunity kind of way. Checks a lot of boxes.
Actually Claude Parrot (remember him) wanted all emails sent electronically to the post office, where unionized workers would print the email, put it in an envelope, address it, and then carry it to a mail sorting machine for eventual deliver by a letter carrier.
“ According to the Chronicle, Pelosi has not directed her five employees to work from home. Instead, the congresswoman is collaborating with local and federal law enforcement to keep her staff secure, according to a spokesperson.”
Sure, security for her minions, but her husband has to fend for himself when their hammer-wielding gay lovers come a knockin!
Reminds me of the rich men south of Gatineau complaining about some honking.
It’s never “too soon”
I remember that idiocy from Jean Claude Parrot, I can’t imagine this scenario.
Obviously the original singer / songwriter is headed towards a hard audit by the IRA next spring. There’s a reason those clowns are armed in the USA. They don’t accept ridicule very well.
Relax. That was funny as hell.
I won’t explain, but those of us know what that was.
Funny.
Brought a tear to my eye. Those poor, poor Rich Men North of Richmond. Makes me want to adopt a kitten or something.
I’d suggest a GoFundMe for those poor souls, but I’m already tapped out from funding them.
There’s an article on the internet from The Atlantic. Predictably, they don’t like this song, because this guy isn’t Robbie Robertson who was really cool and read a book about the south but this guy just stinks so there and shut up.
(I’ve must saved you all some time and translation).
They sneeringly point out that it’s a viral hit. Well, bad or good, viral hits have a lot more impact on society today than the ancient music I spend my time listening to.
He seems confused about who is supporting him though, or all of the reasons for ordinary folks being upset at our “elites” [and who those “elites” are and what they’re doing]:

Here’s a partial critique of his “I’m nonpartisan” videos. The original tweets are gone now. I don’t whether from Anthony deleting his one or DC_Draino deleting his own two [or if it was censored by someone else] but here it is in part:
More on it here:
https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-oliver-anthony-drops-new-video-says-rich-men-north-of-richmond-bigger-than-joe-biden-written-about-the-people-on-rnc-debate-stage
This seems to be his last tweet and/or deleted the account only leaving his AintGottaDollar one, quoted above, as I can’t find his Xtwitter oliver_ anthony_music_ account.
And another twist in a tweet from Feb, 2022 praising Hardworking Joe, assuming it’s genuine:
https://twitter.com/deebeecooper3/status/1695412952440934564
It’s literally just redneck Marxism. Those Rich Men North of Richmond are much of why anything works.
This guy is the kind of ‘centrist’ who hates welfare-unless its his welfare. “Hands of my Medicare!”
Its amazing you can get your head that far up your ass. Government is why Solyndra works. Government is why Proterra works. Government is why in a few short years blackouts will be the rule, rather than the exception.
He should have sung about the politicians bought out by the lobbyists (Military & Pharmaceutical), but I suppose that was the original. Bureaucrats are just the stormtroppers, esp. the 3-letter agencies.
