  1. And why do we think “reporter” Teresa was asking Pollievre if he’s was “courting the far-right vote”? Yep, same playbook here.

  2. They will ban opposition to communism as racist. What is happening is the illusion of peacefully changing governments thru voting is fading.
Missouri Compromise was 1820, Kansas Nebraska was 1854, Dred Scott was 1857, John Brown was 1859. The Missouri compromise held for 30 years and its repeal destroyed the illusion of peaceful coexistence. The Whig Party died in 1856 over its refusal to abolish slavery. We have a long way to go and the Left will insure we get there.

  3. Pure democracy. 50.1% of the voters can vote to have the other 49.9% killed. A republic if you can keep it.

    1. +++Thomas. This crap is here in canada, “they” just are not as open about it, just yet. My personal belief in individual freedom puts me so far right I am almost going left.

      1. People ask me why I moved to the US. While there are a lot of problems here, as well, I believe the mechanics to repair it still exist. Canada? Not so much.

    2. Well … if they say that 50.1% of the country all believe they should get FREE SHIT from “the government” … then they elect people who run up $30T in taxpayer debt. Perpetual debt … followed by default and dissolution of the Republic.

There are limits to … “too big to fail”. At some point FAILURE becomes inevitable. The music stops. The golden goose has been pressed into foie gras … TILT … FINI

  4. It feels like the Democrats are trying to do the same to the Republicans by weaponizing the justice department.

  5. Romania tried this back in the 1930s when they more or less banned the Peasants Party, a moderate political movement fighting for reforms to Romania’s tax system and land ownership.

In response, that support flowed to Corneliu Codreanu and his violently antisemitic Iron Guard, which proved to be a far more serious threat than the Peasants Party.

    1. In the US, you can trace a lot of the abuses now on a timeline back to the Uniparty overreaction to the Tea Party. How dare the people question how their betters are collecting and spending money?

They kept lying about the horrible things people who were focused mainly on economic issues supposedly stood for. They might end up generating and facing a movement whose fight matches their previous lies.

      1. All it just takes is a large swarm of people dispossesed of influence or a voice, and a charismatic leader along the lines of a Hitler, Lenin or Codreanu, and you have a monster on your hands.

        1. US pundit Jesse Kelly has been saying this for a while – if the left continues on its present path, there’ll be someone far worse than Trump coming who will course correct. Trump will look like a pussycat by comparison. We have a conceit that such a thing couldn’t happen here but history is replete with examples. We’re in the midst of witnessing the naked transformation of western countries into communist totalitarian regime’s and the shredding of individual rights. Who had that on their scorecard 30 years ago?

  6. “They are extremists who don’t believe in science, they’re often misogynists, also often racists. It’s a small group that muscles in, and we have to make a choice in terms of leaders, in terms of the country. Do we tolerate these people?”
    Justin Trudeau, 2021

    Trying his hand at demonization.

What he fails to mention is that there are barely enough of the ‘far right’ in Canada to fill a small high school gymnasium. Conservative politicians need to be pointing that out every time the MSM trots that tired old ploy…

I thought he was talking about all the gummint bureaucrats and ministers in Ottawa, Fred. What am I missing?

Oh wait… he left out ‘thieves’. That’s what was missing.

  7. Watson asserts that the Germans want to outlaw the AfD for becoming popular. [mainly in the former GDR]
But it’s a bit more than that. I recall an earlier leader who suggested machine gunning refugees at the border
[because that’s what the STAZI did] She also Thought that Germany should take back its Prussian territories.
    And more recently:
// The German coup plot busted by police today was not your usual extremist flakes: Led by former AfD members of the Bundestag, aristocrats and military officers, it had concrete plans to overthrow democracy. AfD is not simply a conservative protest party //

    1. You are an extremist flake if you take these rumors seriously. No one is much interested in your demented conspiracy theories.

  8. It’s all about centralization of power…..currently in pretty much every “democratic” nation, there is a HUGE push to remove authority from provinces/states to the federal government. It’s much easier to control one central government than numerous smaller ones. It is a strategy that must be destroyed. Kind of reminds me of Operation Valkyrie.

  9. It would be difficult to imagine an explanation for the rapid decline in liberal societies within the bankrupt welfare states than a combination of end stage democracy and multiculturalism. They are all bankrupt and about to enact desperate measures to continue expanding leviathan while avoiding addressing debt which itself leads to despotism. The artificial nation states that now exist with disparate ethnic and cultural political divergence is another. Canada, for example is generally governed by Quebec and the swelling ethnicities of the Toronto area. Quebec, which is essentially Canada’s largest Indian Reserve (ethnic ghetto wallowing in grievance and dependency) and this Québec led regime is propped up by a Sikh who has been known to support Sikh terrorists. The regime is conducting mass importation from other non-founding cultures and ethnicities. European nations have been at war for centuries over ethnic differences as has every other region on the planet. World dominance appears to being moved to one of the most ethnically uniform fascist states while the western liberal “democracies” commit suicide.

Germany has always been an essentially fascist nation whether disarmed and run by Green Peace or social / liberal democrats (fascists in non-Orwellian Newspeak). Unable to comprehend or desire the liberalism of this new party to be censored, confirms their fascism.
