  1. Lol. Conducting endless studies about the greenhouse gas effects of keeping pets contributes more greenhouse gases than driving your pet dog to a climate conference every day.

    1. “Blarney Science”, Rusty, “Blarney Science”. You’re less likey to get censored in some venues.

  2. I read a study where the existence of the Daily Mail contributed as much greenhouse gases as flying around the world 100 times each year…

  3. Convincing evidence that you can get any piece of silly rubbish published under the label “peer-reviewed research”. There’s lots of good science done in modern times. This tripe about fish-tanks isn’t some of it. The sad part is that the authors take themselves and their fish stories seriously.

      1. No. That was a guesstimate by a 12-year old BC kid for some lame-O school enviro project.

        It wasn’t even primary-school kid-reviewed.

  4. Having a Prime Minister that flies all the time causes as much carbon footprint as a hypocrite flying around all the time.

  5. Here’s the important take away from this “revelation.” Driving a car 1000 miles does not create a significant amount of greenhouse gas.

I thank the amazing and ever dependable experts for confirming that for me.

  6. Our cruel enslavement and exploitation of our fishy brethren must cease!!!

Sorry, just finishing off my can of smoked salmon…

  7. I thought global warming was to kill all tropical fish, and reefs and any living thing, not the other way around.

  8. Oh hell why not – Enviro zealots convinced thousands of normally sane people that trapping co2…pressurizing it, then injecting it into geological formations for eternal storage is a good thing. So if you accept that as gospel this shouldn’t be a big leap of faith in the least.

As for the Welsh researchers…just stick to what you’re good at: Singing hymns and digging coal.
