In January, NHL player Ivan Provorov refused to wear his team’s Pride jersey

He got smeared and attacked, but he did not back down

5 months later… the NHL is officially banning LGBTQ Pride jerseys

    The lesson: Stand your ground

1:44 video; note media-idiot attacks the policy “in Pride month”!!!

  2. The queer agenda just got a kick in the balls from the NHL. They didn’t go alone tho, they managed to take down all the other causes that the NHL supports – military, special olympics etc. Now nobody gets a promotional night. Well done!

    1. I don’t give a shit what the NHL supports. I’d be happy to just watch hockey and have the commentators only talk about hockey, end of story. And none of these ‘aw shucks, Indians playing hockey in BC or disabled hockey’ stories either. It would be nice to see some normal people in the commercials too!

    2. No, the NHL was caught licking balls and, while the NHL enjoys it immensely, saw a dip in cash flow. For the time being, the NHL will be more subtle in its grooming.

  3. For a while there I thought the NHL was going to take up needlework, drink Bud Light and crawl up each other’s backsides. Remind me, why are we supposed to celebrate buggery?

  4. Pride is political. Bigtime. BLM are a bunch of poseurs by comparison.
Sports are where the dirty masses go to be free from politics.
Ask the Romans if you don’t believe me.
And get rid of the the whiny Indians and the military nights and the stupid national anthems.

  5. Sure, forcing players to participate in political displays is such a good idea. I was surprised more players didn’t refuse but now you know that more would if the NHL did it again next year. Why do I think they conferred with their lawyers and were told it was advisable to back off?
