  1. Watch on Netflix…
    Asterix & Obelix…hilarious!
Truly reminds you of our politicians in charge.

Cleaning up whatever is an extremely dysfunctional organization…they call…real life.
I’ve been classed pseudoscience for many decades now…facts.

  2. Huh. Yet our very own scientific journal editor assures us, time & again, that all research submitted & published is of a platinum standard & beyond question, you knuckle-dragging, plebeian, low life, far-right conspiracy theorists.

    1. You forgot “uneducated”. Nobody who comments here made it out of high school, right? We don’t have any physicians, vets, physicists, Engineers, PhDs or none a’ them book larnin’ types. No sir.

      1. I wonder if I still have that spreadsheet somewhere… a long time ago Kate asked everyone what we do for a living, and that night I couldn’t sleep so I collated the information. This group is better educated than most university faculty.

        1. And those who have not gone on to post secondary education know how to read and write and scrutinize the bullshit coming from our alleged ‘betters’.

Most of the brilliant people in our past, from science to literature, to medicine and much more, did NOT have post secondary education unless, perhaps they were clergy.

Once you learn to read, you can educate yourself to whatever level you wish. Many do just that.

          1. Exactly JW. Why are people so convinced that it is only those with a degree who are intelligent?
How is a degree in American History (only using that as my duaghter-in-law, a primary school teacher, has one) of any use whatsoever in most other fields?

Dear Leader Tony Blair said “Education, education, education” back in 1997 and we now have hundreds of thousands of low grade morons with degrees in worthless subjects and a pile of debt in their name but which the taxpayer is on the hook for. But still a lack of Doctors, Nurses (can’t become a nurse without a degree…) Mathematicians, Engineers, etc.

      2. Phantom…

Sure glad you didn’t add Technologists…a group of which I am in..!!
We’re kinda half way between a trades person and an ENGINEER…but far more hands on & smarter.
For me its Certified J’man, Engineering Tech and Certification as Inspector…

HR is where no minds “work”..always
        Useless mouth breathers

  3. Put your thumb on where it all started?.. Its a toss up between school crossing guards and the war on big tobacco.. Seriously, before that we were all going to burn in Hell because of some peer reviewed book that slips my mind..

Its a wonder that we have gotten as far as we have.. The sad part of that statement is the progress is the stuff that slipped through the cracks.. If they could have killed it in the crib they would have..

Astonishing what lack of regulation and control can achieve.. Because none of it came from a bunch of dickweeds pushing their politics and preferences.. Astonishing!..

  4. “…a lot of the original research and test results are mysteriously disappearing.”

Anyone who thinks hospitals across North America are not furiously scrubbing their patient records right now, I’ve got this nice bridge in Brooklyn for sale. Because the records are damning. A lot of those people are very afraid they will go to jail.

But hey, peer reviewed medical journals are the gold standard, right? If its in JAMA it -must- be true. They wouldn’t lie. Nope, nuh uh.

    1. Also note that a lot of the “retracted” articles exposed harms caused by the vaccines like myocarditis, blood clots, and miscarriages. We can’t allow the truth to come out.

      1. And also note that sixteen (16) of the “retracted” articles attest to the efficacy of Ivermectin for treatment and prevention of Covid-19. I reiterate: We can’t allow the truth to come out.

    2. Reply to The Phantom.
When the AMA is unable to defend all the lawsuits the gubernment will step in and raise taxes for defense .

  5. “Silence! I kill you”.
Of course these “Studies” are disappearing.
They have served their purpose and their existence now undermines the sacred narrative.
Quite funny how the institution of “medical care” reverts to form.
Witch doctors and charlatans seem drawn to the bizz.

Dredd Covid Theatre has been an unmitigated disaster for these power hungry midgets.
They must now double down on their power seeking of face retribution..
I know they are aware of this, because they have chosen to lie, omit and hide data..
All the actions (ignore their words) of guilty fools.

    1. “Deniers should not be allowed to work, Or remain in Canada.”
      Trudy…

‘I didn’t say that. I didn’t mean that.’ ‘Here’s what I meant to say.’ ‘May-be you misunderstood?’ You know I would never say anything like that. to my voter, older base, don’t believe a word these Nazis will tell you.

  6. I think ClimateGate was the official end of the credibility of ‘peer review’, and the exact moment when the public began to recognize it as ‘pal review’.

Oh, it was happening well before that…most of us just didn’t know about it.

  7. And now we have one of those upstart news organizations that the governments are opposed to releasing the same thing that Tiabbi has been telling us about.

    https://www.gbnews.com/health/government-counter-disinformation-unit-covid-lockdown

As they say the truth will set you free and the truth is coming out, thankfully. How many ‘vaxxed’ are going to call for retribution now that they are being made aware that they and their loved one’s lives have been either taken or irretrievably damaged.

  8. Ventilators are another magical covid therapy they’d rather not talk about as well.

  9. 330 articles sounds like a lot. What the article does not say is how many research papers on COVID have been published.

The answer: hundreds of thousands. The following paper that investigated retractions says that over 200,000 had been published by January 2022, and it’s a safe bet that number has doubled since then:

    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34856823/

So that’s about one retraction for every thousand paper. But retracted papers usually don’t disappear, but rather are still available, They’re just marked “Retracted”.

    1. You are ignoring the fact that the retracted papers were disproportionately garbage used to promote the government COVID narrative. It’s not a coincidence or random chance that papers discrediting hydroxychloroquine were fakes. How many of the articles that told us the mRNA vaccines are safe and effective were fakes too? Nor is it coincidence that among tens of thousands of papers, those published in “high repute” journals heavily funded by Big Pharma (Lancet I am looking at you!) also have a disproportionate number of articles that confirmed the government narrative and were subsequently withdrawn.

Lancet is now finished. It has ZERO credibility among thinking scientists.

      1. You are ignoring the fact that the retracted papers were disproportionately garbage used to promote the government COVID narrative.

Well so says Hot Air. But they only cited that one article from The Lancet to back that allegation up. Here’s a retracted paper that supported the use of Ivermectin for COVID, so it goes both ways:

        https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33723507/

Lancet is now finished. It has ZERO credibility among thinking scientists.

You’re dreaming in technicolor. The Lancet is one of the most influential scientific journals in the world, and isn’t going anywhere. They retract about one paper every two years, which given the hundreds of articles they publish every year, is hardly a stain on their credibility. It’s the journals which NEVER retract a paper that you should be suspicious of.

        1. Its not the number of retractions thats at issue here KM

          Its their content.
The one Fauci pushed for trashing IVM & HCQ is the biggy, which steered the masses to the vaxx (Bio Weapon)

          1. The one Fauci pushed for trashing IVM & HCQ is the biggy

Did Fauci cite this particular paper?

        2. “But they only cited that one article from The Lancet to back that allegation up.”

So the Lancet only published -one- wildly false and politically convenient Covid paper? We know that’s not true, but I’ll grant it for the sake of argument.

Don’t we already know that -every- gun control paper -ever- published in the Lancet was wildly false and politically convenient? (The National Academy of Science did the meta-analysis. Conclusion: bogus.) None of those false papers were ever retracted either.

How many times do they have to do it before its okay to question their motives and ethics? Do you have a number?

          1. How many times do they have to do it before its okay to question their motives and ethics? Do you have a number?

Einstein is purported to have said, “Why 100? If I were wrong, one would have been enough. [In response to the book “Hundred Authors Against Einstein”]”.

All it takes is one. There need not be a GD “consensus”.

          2. wildly false and politically convenient Covid paper

No, one COVID paper that they retracted. The rest was added by you.

          3. My point is that the description of The Lancet paper as being “wildly false and politically convenient” was purely your invention. The Lancet did not describe it that way.

Their basis for the retraction was that the data that the paper was based on looked questionable. The Lancet issued no opinion about whether the conclusions were right or wrong — as is appropriate, as they had no basis to make that call.

          4. The interesting thing is how The Lancet paper came to be retracted.

After the paper was published, three of the authors asked to see the details of the data that the paper was based on. When they were refused the details, they approached The Lancet and said they no longer had confidence in the integrity of the data.

Now you should criticize the co-authors for not doing this before the paper was published, as well as The Lancet for not demanding more transparency during the review process. What doesn’t hold up is that there was political motivation by The Lancet.

    2. Go read up on the career of Dr. Barry Marshall. Or read anything by Thomas Kuhn. Your faith in the incorruptibility of the scientific publishing process is woefully misplaced.

It’s like watching conservatives slowly, painfully come to the realization that the cops are not only not on their side now, but were never on their side.

      1. I never stated that the scientific method is incorruptible, so you can take your straw man down.

If you have any points to make on my specific comment above, fire away. Otherwise get lost.

        1. Government funding of science corrupts the scientific method to produce “The Science” TM, whatever results they want it to be, example COVID, climate change…..

          1. Are you claiming that these retractions from multiple journals from multiple countries, representing less than .1% of all COVID papers, are being orchestrated by “the government”?

You have a tough row to hoe to establish that, particularly given how ornery journal editors tend to be.

  10. Another piece of garbage from KM over a year old. I don’t get the ‘sky is green’ crap. Needs to walk away from the computer or phone and touch some grass.

    1. You’re criticizing my comment because I cited a paper that’s over a year old?

      Okay.

  11. “I never stated that the scientific method is incorruptible, so you can take your straw man down.”

Speaking of straw men, I like the way the you deliberately used “scientific method” (completely incorruptible, by design) in place of “scientific publishing process” (almost completely corrupted now). Nice try.

  12. “And if we don’t learn anything from all of this, it will happen again when the next pandemic inevitably comes along.”

This is why arrests need to happen.
    Trials done.
    Executions for the guilty.
