  1. Freedom of speech is dying everywhere. Strange that talking about it isn’t improving the situation.

    1. I agree that, especially in Canada, with Bill C-11 now law, freedom of speech is in jeopardy. And I agree that talking about it achieves little. A CEO at a big corporation, and an acquaintance of mine, once told me that at his company there is a saying that “there are talkers and there are doers”. His company favored the doers.

      I am old with health and mobility problems, so as a conservative I can’t be out there helping the cause. But I do contribute money to conservative groups and media. The establishment media is too rotten and corrupt to ever reform themselves.

      So conservatives should build up their own parallel media to combat the media corruption. Ezea Levant knew this when he started up Rebel Media. And individuals in the movement should financially support the alternative media.

  2. Liberals blame Harper. I blame Harper as well, for not doing things when he had the opportunity.

      East vs West. Socialists vs Can’t Wait To Be Socialists. Really, is there any intelligent Conservative life anywhere? When you lose more than the Leafs, there is no hope.

      Of course, at its essence, it’s all about Rich vs Poor. The rest is just strategy and the Rich are very good at it.

      Just look at how many millions they fool in Canada every single day.

      Checks and balances?

      Constitution? Unfunny joke. See Section 1A. See Convoy. See Mandatory Vaccines.

      Courts? Even funnier joke. Liberal ideological hacks where your judgement is now based on your color, your gender, your political leanings, …………truly a national embarrassment.

      Opposition Party? The Stupid Party or the Washington Generals side of the Uniparty? Either way, they are Leafian Losers. Surrender Stevie just the latest in a long line.

      The Canadian Media? Wise up. They ARE The Enemy. People that call the elderly and try to shake them down have more ethics and honesty.
      Canadian Governments plus Canadian Media = Nothing But Lies.

      Canadian Liberals = Hate-Hypers Extraordinaire always stealing your money on behalf of the Laurention Swamp. Darn good at it too.

      The Liberal Swamp has spread like the cancer it is.
      The Plandemic showed that a good 20 to 30 percent of Canadians not only WANT but NEED the Government to tell them what to do. What to think.
      How to live.
      To say nothing of the 44 percent of Canadians who now receive a Government check. And growing.

  5. Not to worry. All seniors whom I know do not have any remote interest in becoming activists for anything. Most of us just like to travel a bit and eat a delicious meal out.

    I am more interested than most of my friends in politics, but only get active when the City or my strata wants to do something illegal or wierd.

    – Everyone is like “Oh well, it was a hoax.” No, there should be indictments: Obama, Hillary and all the way down to the FBI foot soldiers.
    – Freeland is really bad at politics too (not just Finances) – why in the world would you do a one-on-one with Hillary while conclusion of Durham about to come out?

    2. I’m not too old to remember when I was a testosterone filled adolescent who looked forward to the SI swimsuit issue. It came out during a small gap in pro sports seasons. It filled a need, so to speak. And the photography was always tastefully done … never a dude so much as in the background.

    The Comments are priceless,about the only pro idiocy commenter is Bill McKinnon,or whatever that skinny phoney calls himself these days.
    I wonder how many of these “Motivated Planet Savers” realize they owe their comfortable old age and leisure to Fossil Fuels?
    But I doubt they even dimly consider such..

    Friend of Hamas, he was awarded CIA directorship for his handy work.

    Could someone tell Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland that according to her 2023 budget, Canada’s interest on debt charges will be $43.9 billion this fiscal year; $46.0 billion in 2024; $46.6 billion in 2025; $48.3 billion in 2026 & $50.3 billion in 2027?

    Governor Gavin Newsom recently announced that the state’s budget deficit has ballooned by $9 billion, going from the initial January estimate of $22.5 billon to $31.5 billion, leading to more major cuts being implemented next fiscal year.
