    1. This old unvaxxed guy was following the right direction from day one. The truth was always out there for those who were willing to look. Nothing seems to have changed, as fools are still taking boosters that do nothing and wearing masks that prevent nothing and are physically harmful to the wearers.

    1. I think Anheuser Busch’s marketing campaign for Bud Light was brilliant.

      After all, who else would you want to market it to, but those who already like the taste of piss?

      1. Thank God for Carter and the craft brewer revolution he instigated by deregulation. Granted it’s gotten a little silly (Kelp IPA?) but the world before was so bleak.

          There’s a beer store in Edmonton that stocks over 1000 different brands from around the world. Not too many are the costly locals. I made a mistake and bought some local Irish Red for the trip home the other day. Weasel piss. Drank one and not sure what to do with the other 3.

          Costco sells the cheapest beer in AB. It works out to just over $1/ can. It’s not great but I can handle it over the summer

          1. Pfft maybe E-town’s micros are bad, but BC is light years ahead of Alberta in the craft brewery game anyway. Your local store should stock some more of what comes out of BC.

          2. Is BC beer better than the plonk they call wine? What do they use 80% California grape? or is it up to 90%? It’s a bad product.

            What they have are a bunch of orchardists (failed apple growers ) who decided to become vintners. You can do the math.

  9. The Bong is in a constant struggle to emulate his old man. If the old man did it, he does it. Think War Measures Act, queer on every issue (the old boy is in the queer hall of fame – yes, there is one) and so forth.

    T1 vote 4 or 5 times to force workers back to work. He didn’t hesitate, acting quickly usually within a few days. Is the Bong prepared to do what the old man would do or is he going to sit back, run out the clock, cave in and give the strikers what they want?

    If he is going to force the strikers back he needs a partner. Jaggie is out so that leaves the the Blockheads and the CPC. Whats in it for the Blockheads? They exist to leave the country. Why should they care? That leaves the CPC. What would motivate their support.?

    My guess is the Bong give in to the strikers. He’s never cared one whit about Canada. He’s in the game for his own gain.

    Oh and she went on some insane monologue about how much she loves DeFascist and other crazies in the US. The UPC should do her like the British Tories did Truss and pronto. I think she’s going to blow it-not that it matters much in the long run. Alberta showed it’s true colors when Kenney’s call for oil tariffs was met with crickets. Alberta is not and probably never was a land of ‘rock-ribbed individualists’. It’s all poseurs.

    Between Smith living down to the worst expectations and Poilievre going Full Retard on Glencore, honest to God Doug Ford is looking pretty damn good. More Fordism less populism please. Ontario of all places may end up being Canada’s saving grace. Go figure.
