“Let me play the tape for you”.

The prime minister is in the Queen City today, with a full slate of appearances planned to promote the federal budget. We ask Justin Trudeau about the grocery rebate, mineral rights, the future of RCMP training and more.

This is really good work by CBC Saskatchewan’s Stefani Langenegger. Give it a listen.

    1. Thought the exact same thing. What a smug prick. Stefani did a good job, how she maintained her composure while having to chat with that twat was commendable.

  1. The “confrontation” over mineral rights begins at about the 4-minute mark. The CBC reporter is persistent, but she does not finish the segment with what should have been a clear summation – the prime minister lied about what the Justice minister said.

My view: although I despise the Dear Leader, he actually did well overall in the interview.

    1. No no no.. he comes across as even more of a lying prick than usual. Everything they were discussing is repugnant to me: the picking apart the budget for some of the crumbs robbed from Peter to bribe Paul… the rebates and “incentives”… now we have a “grocery rebate” (for ELIGIBLE Canadians – how many permanent full time Revenue Canada employees does it take to determine who is ELIGIBLE for the GIBS). The utter mess this government has made of our tax code is actually is the least discussed mockery this government has made of this country, I think. And the lying to cover up for his Justice minister revealing their plans too early is just disgusting. You can invert everything he said on that subject and you’ll be closer to the mark. $10/day daycare? Shove it right up our arse. But I’m sure it’s fantastic for our 8 child, muslim households being imported by the million every year.

  2. Every Province should avoid signing up for UNDRIP like it’s a plague, which it is in the sense that provincial governments will lose authority over all mineral development in their province.
We can’t continue this FN farce and maintain a strong industrial nation.

  3. I did not expect that from a CBC reporter! Wonder where she will be working next week?

    1. She’ll get a slap upside the head & will return back to work Monday, suitably chastised, retraction written & ready to lob softballs the next time Blackie’s in town.

    2. Lance A I did not expect that from a CBC reporter, Kate -good work by Stephanie. MJ -dear leader actually did well in the interview – and that says it all! He is incapable of responding coherently without being given the questions prior. They were simply playing to the Saskatchewan audience and almost no one else is listening.

    3. CBC radio is far different than the fat smug fcks who bloviate on TV.
If PP ever decommissions the Ceeb he needs to leave the radio alone.
      They hate Juthtin.
      That’s awesome.

      1. “If PP ever decommissions the Ceeb he needs to leave the radio alone.”

Better yet, we can tie the entire CBC up and suspend it over a pool of gators, sharks and piranhas and slowly lower it while we all leave and do some other stuff.

      2. They really don’t. This is an absurd deviation from normal for Langenegger. Enough for me to suspect a brain bleed or aneurism.

  4. The Federal Government is looking to the UN and away from Canadian law to transfer mineral rights from the Provinces to First Nations.

The Federal Government will then implement those “rights” on behalf of First Nations as it (our Federal Government) clearly reports to the UN and not the people of Canada.

      1. I do believe such a manoeuver would break up Canada

Interesting theory. If you’re correct then we should be lobbying the feds to push this forward. Let’s get this party started.

  5. She may be thinking ahead to polishing up her personal brand for a job search if and when the CBC is shuttered. To paraphrase Dr. Jordan Peterson, each time I hear Trudeau’s cringey voice, I think “this manchild” has never spoken a word that is true.”

    1. Libs are producers and Cons are distributors. For all manner of filth and perversion.

  6. thank you everyone for listening to this and commenting so I don’t have to listen to it.
I will not knowingly click on a cbc link

  7. If you bother to read the UNDRIP, you will notice the little SAVE they give to all European and South American nations (and against some USA indigenous tribes). If the indigenous people were conquered by war, they are not covered by the document and have no special rights.
I wonder if any federal government will declare war against those tribes who cause (using violence) a disturbance to the peaceful order of society? There is a boon to the nation if that ever happens.

  8. Stefani doesn’t speak Mandarin well. The only way to keep her job is for Trudeau to lose his.

  9. You gotta hear the next story on this CBC feed about the animal communicator. Back to regular programming…
