10. I like this idea that the BBC is not ‘government’ funded, it is ‘publicly’ funded.
    It is mandated in law (introduced by the Labour government under Tony Bliar) that if you watch ANY live TV you have to pay the licence fee, the vast majority of which goes to the BBC (some goes to Channel 4). Including live satellite or cable. And no time shifting either…

    If that is the case, they have admitted government doesn’t ‘fund’ anything, as the only money they have is stolen from the people – stolen as in taken from us when many of us would most likely prefer it were not taken from us.
    As I have stated for a long time but which is now shown as the truth.
