  1. Grew up in a small town on a mountainside and our first experience of television was out of Spokane, Washington. I said we lived on a mountainside, which meant that the upper areas of our town could get the signals from Spokane, while the lower areas could not; and forget the communities further down the valley. Need I add that our area was one of the first to have cable TV, with an aerial perched high atop the local ski hill and cable running down the valley to provide the three channels (ABC, NBC, CBS) to happy customers. One of the stations did even manage to bring the Grey Cup to us, which meant dad and best bud no longer had to listen to the radio broadcast and chart out the game.
Where was CBC, do you ask? Some years later, CBC deigned to provide programming to the hinterlands, but what we received was essentially Toronto programming with “feeds” of news stories being sent to Vancouver. We were “fly-over” country before it was invented.

“Indeed, the Russian Orthodox Church has played an essential part in the Kremlin’s war on Ukraine, and as the world marks the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion, we must examine the way religion has been weaponized—and perverted—to justify crimes against humanity.”

I highly recommend you read it all. It explains why the UOC is getting the boot in Ukraine.

    1. Hard to believe there are still some people to whom it’s not clear that Ruϟϟischeschweinen Orthodonkeys are, in relation to the regime in their home country, a bunch of arse-lickers at best and an off-shot of FSB at worst and likeliest (though I don’t doubt there are many decent people among the individual priests of that church who just want to serve people according to their beliefs).

  3. An insanely jealous Kid Rock makes expletive-laden video threatening GENOCIDE against Dylan Mulvaney and the Trans community:

    https://twitter.com/KidRock/status/1643090302410936323

We need another Trans Day of Vengeance to tolerantly and compassionately shoot, jail, or at least arrest Kid Rock for this VIOLENT threat.
Alvin Bragg, Merrick Garland, where are you?!

    1. I just want to be the first to say that on this site we do not condone violence towards anyone. Your suggestion that Kid Rock be shot is over the line. But then again with so called Progressives there are no lines. Remind me to weep when the Revolution comes for you PP.

      1. Another victim of Prog Pat’s biting sarcasm.
Applause for your non-violent stance though…
        AND your anti-prog viewpoint.

        1. So Anti-prog is non violence thus pro prog is violence. FC your logic betrays you

  4. Now We’re Supposed to Worry About ‘Stigma’ Toward ‘Adult Baby/Diaper Lovers’

“We’re also treated to the pants-warming story of “Leo,” another member of an Adult Baby/Diaper Lovers group, who has spent “eight years embracing this side of himself and exploring Ottawa’s AB/DL community.” The safe spaces the groups share give members “both the opportunity to express their true selves, form strong friendships with people who understand them, and feel loved.””

Sodom on Rideau. Why am I not surprised? Wonder how many politicos, aside from Blackie, are involved?

      1. I read it, Allan S, I read it.
I still can’t believe that you’re actually whitewashing this attack, though.
Well, actually, I can believe it, because that’s what progs do when one of their own commit heinous acts of violence.

        1. Whitewashed what? Calling people out for describing a vile propagandist as a journalist”l?

          1. The “journalist” was a convicted criminal (armed robbery) whom the Russians got out of jail when they occupied the part of Ukraine where he was imprisoned. They welcomed him with open arms to fight for them and his journalism was limited to blogging where he posted things like “we’ll vanquish everyone, kill everyone and rob everyone we’ll need to”. If he’s a journalist, then Osama bin Laden was a writer.

  5. “Statuettes of Limitations”…
It’s a big thing in LAW.
The Trump Train trial has broken this as they could have presented the case sooner in prosecution.

    1. Gee ,David, I thought Trudeau moving out would have fixed that. I apologize. I couldn’t resist,it was to easy.

    1. And I see that you cited a reputable source!

(Sorry for the edit, but I forgot to add the obligatory “/s” at the end of that sentence.)

      1. “And I see that you cited a reputable source!”

He gets all his fake news from the NYT (or CNN).

    1. 1 x “Clean shaven with a short black afro”

Those dang white males and their fancy perms.

    1. As a father, I hope to hell I never have to deal with something like this. However, if I do, you can bet your ass it ain’t gonna take 18 months for an investigation to start.

    1. From the article:

“A good security clearance process should be catching any possible such issues before they employ someone, in part because it’s very difficult to get rid of people in the federal government.”

      1. I am sure all the Islamists have her number on speed dial for when they want anything.

    1. Diversity is our strength; the name of the bureaucrat – Sanjay Madan. Plus, it was a family affair – his wife and two kids were in on the action.

“The ministry said he was also accused of and pleaded guilty to stealing more than $36 million from the government through kickbacks from 2011 to 2020.

“The province had sued Madan, his wife and two adult children, alleging they illegally issued and banked cheques aimed to offset the cost of kids learning at home during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.

Madan had a senior IT role and helped develop a computer application related to a COVID-19 relief benefit before he was fired in 2020. His wife and two sons all worked for the province in information technology.”

      1. Don’t worry, he will be out in 2 years and ready to live with his family who somehow will have retired early to the Grand Cayman Islands to live in luxury.
