The Sound Of Settled Science

el gato malo;

i have long been fascinated by the manner in which so much of what we “know” simply “isn’t so.” grand myths and misperceptions proliferate through our culture, our models of the world, and even in our scientific understandings. someone does a bad study, makes some wild claims, and decades go down the tubes as whole fields get led astray into rabbit warrens and the consciousness and belief set of the populace gets wedded to some form of compelling crackpottery or other.

there’s always “data.”

there’s always a loud proclamation.

and because it’s some simple seemingly telling claim, everyone jumps on board. mostly, they want to. people love stuff like this. they love “big, simple facts.”

but a shocking amount of it is just plain bunk generated by slanted study. this is sometimes unwitting, sometimes deliberate, but the effect is always the same:

you get told a big simple fact that is just plain wrong.

  1. Case in point …

Among other scientific mythologies … this Tranny playing dress-up female makes the absurd claim that the clitoris and the penis are really the same thing. Yeah … they’re from the same kind of nerve tissue. But after that … you’re gonna generalize and create NO distinction between their physical form and the purpose of those wildly different organs? NO distinction between their role in sexual reproduction? What happened to the evolutionists who would claim male and female reproductive organs evolved into very specific, successful, reproductive designs?

The problem is that medical science has been taken over by “feelings” … literally … the feelings of these organs and not their specialized designs. When mankind mangles medical science in this politically-woke nonsensical manner … we are doomed as a people and culture. We are effectively neutering larger and larger percentages of our children … to an unknown … but surely not positive effect.

you just figuring out the real reason for the trans movement? The other thing about the trans BS it is being used to deconstruct historical social values. That some thing it is to normalize pedophilia shows they are out of touch with reality. Pedophilia is already rampant in society, especially the “church”.

      1. Roman Catholicism and pedophilia go hand in hand as far back as the history books go.

Its priesthood is infested with pedos.

If Roman Catholicism was outlawed as the subversive cult it is, pedophilia and other forms of sexual perversion would drastically decline.

        1. You might as well get rid of government K-12 schools while you are at it, because the only thing keeping the reported incidence of pedophilia in schools from approaching that of churches is the thorough job teachers’ unions have done in suppressing information on their members who are offenders.

  2. The School or Hard Knocks delivers very hard knocks indeed to those with delusions..
Reality is where we always return to,when the drugs run out..Or when Darwin Awards are being handed out freely.

  3. …and yet conservatives still scream bloody murder at the slightest hint of de-criminalizing cocaine.

      1. … yeah legalize everything … and then blame the CIA for planting all the legalized drugs in “the black community”

  4. The sea level cartoon made me laugh out loud, loudly.

Last fall I watched a webcast of two FLCCC doctors discussing how restricting processed carbs, leading to weight reduction, cured the type 2 diabetes in 3 months for one of them.

Following their advise, I bought “The Great Cholesterol Myth” by Sinatra and Bowden, easily lost 6+% of my weight in 6 weeks, which lowered my A1C to safer levels.
