    1. there were a bunch of canadian soldiers affected (infected) at the same event, the military doctors wrote it off as a cold, or so the story goes.

    2. My conspiracy theory: it was Democrat leaning scientists collaborating with Democrat politicians, and China’s intelligence agencies, to create a relatively mild virus, that spreads like wildfire; all in an attempt to stop Trump from getting a second term.

      Far fetched? Perhaps, but remember when the virus first hit, how Democrat politicians including Pelosi and DeBlasio told people to get out and enjoy restaurants, movies, etc. And who can forget Cuomo sending elderly COVID patients into seniors’ centers. It’s almost like they wanted it to spread.

  6. Ralph Baric was the very first name I heard that was related to the covid virus. There was a paper at Nature on Chimeric viruses, in which he and Zhi Zhengli, the bat lady of Wuhan, along with others, glued the HIV bits into a bat virus and found that it was hugely more infectious to people. This happened at UNC Chapel Hill back in the Obama days. Program was shut down, in theory, and bat lady goes back to Wuhan. 2 years later and we’ve got N-Cov-19 out of Wuhan. Several years after the paper was published, it was updated to reflect that funding came from Fauci’s corner of the government.
