Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Ohhhh mommmmaaaa … you can’t call somebody a “boy”. That’s racist!
‘boy’ is a young human male. If means something else, then maybe change the spelling.
But when you say it with a Southern accent as in … I say, I say, I say … boyyy yy
And don’t ever say what Howard Cosell said … “… and that little monkey does get loose, doesn’t he?”

Especially if it identifies as a girl.

Great stuff.
I’ll just leave this here:

My favourite was “A Fractured Leghorn”.

I was once in a theater in Lethbridge AB. This was in about 1979. We were attending a movie, not PG rated, so it was an all-adult audience. They ran a couple of cartoons before the movie … of the Tom and Jerry variety. Total childish slap-stick.
I got frightened when the entire theater … full house … literally belly-laughed at the antics on screen.
These cartoons were at 20 or more years old at that time. Yet this theater, filled with alleged adults, were absolutely enthralled as though they were all 8 years old and had never seen such a thing before.
This was Lethbridge AB in 1979. These were Canadian adults. That was scary. Still is.
Warner Brothers had the best cartoons – Bugs, Daffy, Yosemite Sam, Tweety, Pepe Le Pew, Elmer Fud, Porky Pig, . . . Nobody else came close.
My favourites:
“Pay attention, boy! I’m a-pitchin’, but you ain’t a-catchin'”.
“Nice boy, but about as sharp as a billiard ball”

Host, “whereas they called themselves cowhands, cowboy was a racist term reserved for blacks”
How does Porky Pig say “manure”?
“manu-manu-manu- ……..aw shit!”
The answer is, “Jejune”.
The question is, “What is Porky Pig’s favourite month?”
