H. R. – Money laundering is a growth industry in BC. This is what they meant when the told Alberta to diversify it’s economy, just like they had. And now they just advised cautious launderers how they can clean their money worry free. Money laundering consultancies will spring up all over southern BC creating more “green” jobs (money is still green in US currency).

Excellent point. Nobody capable of translating the documents and recordings will be willing to do so. And I suspect that no machine translation service would be willing to do the work, for pretty much the same reasons.
I was first made aware of the money-laundering scandal in BC through the Roy Green show. He interviewed Sam Cooper on his book, ‘Wilfull Blindness’. I bought the book and was absolutely gobsmacked! That the Cullen Commission could find no cause for prosecution speaks loudly to the level of corruption within all levels of government.

This started with a BC NDP conspiracy theory about their political opponents enabling money laundering. It turned out that soft on crime Liberals in Ottawa were the villains in real life, and now they’re so frantic to sweep this under the carpet that they can’t even come up with coherent excuses. At such a sensitive time, those speaking Mandarin (or just looking like they might) could be going to the front of the line, but one suspects that the frantic Left hasn’t forgotten about diversity under the carpet altogether.
