   1. Washington and Oregon should should redraw their state lines so that the two eastern parts are one state and the two western parts are another.

   2. I lived in rural Washington state and other than the Everett-Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia corridor it’s almost all Republican but by population, overwhelmingly Democrat.

5. What’s wrong with using electrical backup heat? Plug in a dozen $25 electrical heaters. If you have no electricity your backup gas system won’t work. An oversize backup electricity generator might cost a few grand. In a really long life I think I’ve seen a gas outage one time that I remember while electrical outages are several times a year.

6. Many Oregon counties have had enough of the Leftist BS out of Portland. Switching to Idaho is gaining traction.
