The headway and civilization under Catholics has been the best system ever devised for mankind on this Earth up to this point , under which you are currently living in.
It isn’t perfect or the best but it is what we have.
I would say it’s glory days ended in the 1950’s.
Compare that with other systems of rule that man has had to endure.

I haven’t had the sound on for a video in about 10 years. The mute button on my current computer has been pressed since day 1. TV is the same. No can hear. I bought headphones once, but my viewing habits and hearing aids preclude frequent donning and doffing of the headphones, so I gave up on them.
My next pair of hearing aids will probably have Bluetooth, so I should be able to pair them to my computer and be able to listen to videos again. That will be quite a change! Woo hoo!
Sometimes not being able to hear sh*t is a good thing.
