A former FBI special agent delivered an emotional testimony before the House Subcommittee on Weaponization Thursday, telling lawmakers that she had resigned from the bureau after it had become “politically weaponized.”
Nicole Parker, a former FBI special agent who served in the bureau from 2009 until 2022, reflected on her career, saying that she had felt she had been making an “impactful difference.”
“Every day, I woke up and embraced being an FBI Special Agent. Until things changed,” she said, adding that the FBI’s “trajectory transformed.”

So, why are all copies of it being destroyed? Simple, such copies could reveal the names of those who made the document, and they wish to preserve their jobs without having to change their views or aims. And that means that they will keep trying to drive and use the FBI to support their personal religious and political beliefs.
But then, we already know that the FBI has collapsed, and is no longer able to fulfill it’s core function, because now their focus is on building the perfect headquarters, in other words building themselves a palace. They are nobles, don’t they deserve a palace? And why should they care about you mere peasants? They are not here to serve you, you are here to serve them, and don’t you forget it.
Don’t they deserve to be called nobles, after all, look at how they have protected you from, uh, this and that, all these years. OK, they are no longer protecting you, and this is just the increasingly common stolen valor idea where they rely on past trust while no longer earning that trust today. See “family friendly” Disney as an example, sure, their last movies didn’t make sense and were just chock full of “the message”, but they expect you to like them anyway because Disney, and they are surprised when you do not.
Note that if they are not currently actually protecting you from actual bad guys, they can get around that by inventing new bad guys that they will claim to protect you from. Being fictional, it is easy to appear to protect you from them, just write it into the story. To bad that, like Disney, they can now longer write a believable or popular story. It is hard to write about heroes and villains when you went to school that taught you that their is no right or wrong, and thus no heroes or villains. That is true in the FBI, and Disney.
Besides, protecting you from actual bad guys is hard and dangerous work, it is much easier to protect you from purely fictional bad buys.
What is it with the Latin mass? The Pope is trying to crush it, the cardinals are trying to crush it, and now we find the FBI is trying to help crush it.

Latin mass is just the traditional ceremony. Reading the same old things from bible, traditional songs. Organ and piano. It’s focus is worshiping god..

Years ago a work mate said pretty well the same thing. Then after a pause, he asked, “Do you suppose that means I was ugly?”

And BTW … many of you know… I am a serious vinyl audiophile rock and roll fan. The greatest music ever written and performed occurred in my youth in the 60’s and 70’s. I also like much of the “alternative” music since then. So my musical preference is the antithesis of a sing-songy Latin liturgy.
Except! I was raised with a traditional Lutheran liturgy that is quite similar, yet in English. I was bitterly disappointed when my church dumped that liturgy for guitars, drums, and bass. The music was shitty, and it ceased to be worship … and became a lame folk rock band performing in church. A liturgy should be repetition… it should be familiar and meaningful. This rock fan enjoyed the traditional liturgy … it was far more musically sophisticated than the lame performance-liturgy that replaced it.
I endured multiple latin masses in my youth and took latin in early catholic high school in the early seventies. Even with several priest instructors available, they decided to assign the grade nine latin class to a phys ed instructor who was about five pages ahead of us in the textbook. We had fun producing cassette tapes to be sent to cheer up the missionaries in Brazil, and did translations of “Ego capiam puellam flava coma et tu fuscam habebis” to mean “I’ll take the blond, you can have the redhead”; not an accurate translation, but scandalously entertaining for catholic students.
Something tells me the FBI is thrilled to be rid of her. Yeah … it’s time to be rid of the FBI … top to bottom. They’ve become a defacto Govt. Military sidestepping the posse’ comitatus act.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more mind numbing rant than what Raskin gave today. I only caught short segments of testimony and I will go back and view the whole thing but if arrests, trials, convictions and imprisonment do not follow then there is no future in America or for that matter the Free World. I challenge all of the trolls here to look at the statements made by every Democrat here and ask themselves are these the leaders that you want to follow? The statement made about the J6 debacle about an armed insurrection that cost the lives of five people should have been immediately followed by a statement from the chairman to set the record straight. Five people did not die that day, two women were murdered by law enforcement officers ( I use that term loosely) and the people that should have been charged are the law enforcement officers and agents that truly incited thr crowd to riot by throwing flashbangs and spreading pepperspray into the crowd. Now get back on topic and leave the religious coversation to another thread.

Anyway, watching the questioning and the commentary of republicans were to the point and verifiable. Three of the witnesses or what ever are they, answered straight forward without the big show of hands that was the production of one other witness.
Watching the questioning and commentary of the so called ‘Democrat” extremists was a whole different story. What could be heard, was that the hearing was a waste of time and could be used for other matters. Of course the real reason being was not to bring to light the wholesale use of the crime and punishment apparatus of the American government against the American people enabled by the so called “Democrats”.
You may have noticed that the “Democrat” witness would not answer to the questions asked of him by a republican.
You may have noticed that sometimes the so called “Democrats” had to admit and then overturn their agreement with another argument.
You may have noticed that the questioning by the republicans was rather open and the witnesses were answering without limit.
The contrast is profound, perceptible at every level.
Open questions on one side and completely shut on the other.
