Diversity Is Our Strength

Global News;

The Quebec government is calling for the resignation of the federal government’s special representative to combat Islamophobia.

Quebec Secularism Minister Jean-François Roberge says Ottawa should fire Amira Elghawaby immediately if she chooses not to resign.

The journalist and activist known anti-Semite was appointed to the role last week by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Via @MattGurney;

I’ve been saying for months, especially around the weird rifle ban flop, that the LPCers are off their game. Even when their policies suck (rifle ban!) they are usually good at the POLITICS of it.

They’re not good at politics now. This outrage was foreseeable.

Something’s up.

Something’s not up. Political laziness is a predictable result of consequence-free governance. No matter the ethics violation, conflict or scandal, Trudeau has always been able to depend upon the kindness of media to double down on his opponents to mitigate the damage, and keep him in power. Thus, like all ideologues, he becomes emboldened until the public anger becomes so widespread his friends can no longer save him.

  1. There are those times when Quebec makes more sense than anyone else.

This just may be one of those times.

  2. As I posted at 9:25 a.m. EST in today’s Reader’s Tips:

Trudeau’s “Minister of Islamophobia” Wants To Sever Canada From Britain
    https://capforcanada.com/trudeaus-minister-of-islamophobia-wants-to-sever-canada-from-britain/

and don’t forget this gem she wrote
What a difference a day makes: The reframing of Canadian Muslims has begun
    https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/what-a-difference-a-day-makes-the-reframing-of-canadian-muslims-has-begun/article26935667/

“… a decade of Stephen Harper changed perceptions about Canadian Muslims in deeper and perhaps more hurtful ways than even the aftermath of 9/11”

  3. Yes. What can’t go on, won’t.

Like your gramma farting and nobody trying to notice…eventually someone has to open the window.

Junior was surrounded by stupid nobodies by Seymour so he’d look good. They didn’t have to do anything because the PMO runs everything, and Seymour and a few others ran the PMO.

The worse thing is, she’ll probably get severance pay…

      1. Yea Arty stupid liberal Canadians from Eastern Canada oh sorry I meant to say Stupid Eastern voters

      2. Trudeau’s surrounded by daft Generation-Xers who think they are real-life “West Wing (TV-show)” cast members.

  4. As Ward says. great summation. Nobody in this government has been expected to do anything beyond saying supposedly nice things. That would be all it took to put a Beyond Meat chicken in every pot, an electric car in every garage, and a hospital in every neighborhood.

    1. Aye, they care about the Jews so much that they’ll toss them in prison for wearing a yarmulke. That’s what I call love and respect.

  5. As long as we allow the PMO to outright bribe the media every single day, we will live in a decaying country. between the CBC and the the other supported media, there is close to $2.7 billion given away by the PMO. Media will not report a single thing that is not first authorized by the LPC backroom. I go to Epoch, Druthers, SDA, NN, ZH, TN, OAN, foreign papers, and even the Daily Mail sometimes, after browsing the MSM headlines to get the clearer story.

When you understand that everything is crafted, and drafted, to fit the narrative with which, they are programming your world, the scales begin to fall from your eyes. The only thing that is scary, is what does one do when they know you no longer believe them, and are on to their tricks? When all the pretext is surrendered, what next?

  6. Thanks Kate.
You always shine the light on things. You are my first choice for accurate explanations of the Canadian condition. You are perceptive.
    God bless you

  7. We’ll NEVER be rid of this retarded witch.
She’s Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (Mad Cow) ie incurable.
    She’ll be martyred.
She’ll run for election for ever, until it’s fixed for her or she’ll continue to write articles and appear on panels for the MSM telling us to eat our peas, bend over and STFU.

  8. You have to be a special kind of stupid to not know this woman’s radical track record. Which makes her appointment after Trudeau’s bitch fight with Legault all the more suspicious.
Maybe Trudeau thought she could do the heavy lifting for him with respect to Bill 21…which is what this really all about in my opinion.

  9. According to Statistics Canada, Islam is the second-most commonly reported religion in Canada, with nearly 1.8 million people as of 2021. In the span of 20 years, Canada’s Muslim population grew to 4.9 per cent in 2021 from two per cent in 2001. The number of Muslims in Canada is expected to nearly triple in the next 20 years, from about 940,000 in 2010 to nearly 2.7 million in 2030. Muslims are expected to make up 6.6% of Canada’s total population in 2030, up from 2.8% today.

According to the Sharia law (the religion of peace??):
    • Theft is punishable by amputation of the hands (Quran 5:38).
    • Criticizing or denying any part of the Quran is punishable by death.
    • Criticizing Muhammad or denying that he is a prophet is punishable by death.
    • Criticizing or denying Allah is punishable by death (see Allah moon god).
    • A Muslim who becomes a non-Muslim is punishable by death (See Compulsion).
    • A non-Muslim who leads a Muslim away from Islam is punishable by death.
    • A non-Muslim man who marries a Muslim woman is punishable by death.
    • A woman or girl who has been raped cannot testify in court against her rapist(s).
    • Testimonies of 4 male witnesses are required to prove rape of a female (Quran 24:13).
    • A woman or girl who alleges rape without producing 4 male witnesses is guilty of adultery.
    • A woman or girl found guilty of adultery is punishable by death (see “Islamophobia”).
    • A male convicted of rape can have his conviction dismissed by marrying his victim.
    • Muslim men have sexual rights to any woman/girl not wearing the Hijab (see Taharrush).
    • A woman can have 1 husband, who can have up to 4 wives; Muhammad can have more.
    • A man can marry an infant girl and consummate the marriage when she is 9 years old.
    • Girls’ clitoris should be cut (Muhammad’s words, Book 41, Kitab Al-Adab, Hadith 5251).
    • A man can beat his wife for insubordination (see Quran 4:34 and Religion of Peace).
    • A man can unilaterally divorce his wife; a wife needs her husband’s consent to divorce.
    • A divorced wife loses custody of all children over 6 years of age or when they exceed it.
    • A woman’s testimony in court, allowed in property cases, carries ½ the weight of a man’s.
    • A female heir inherits half of what a male heir inherits (see Mathematics in Quran).
    • A woman cannot speak alone to a man who is not her husband or relative.
    • Meat to eat must come from animals that have been sacrificed to Allah – i.e., be “Halal.”
    • Muslims should engage in Taqiyya and lie to non-Muslims to advance Islam

    1. David Hand. THIS+++++

A healthy dislike of this religion? Is neither phobic, nor unwarranted!

      1. You’ve just articulated the entire policy platform for the soon to be formed Sharia Law Party of Canada (SLPC).

    2. David

Tis all part of the “project”…to ISLAMIZE the West. Look no further that the stated cause of the Muslim Brotherhood from which this all springs…and they are well on their way or so it seems to me.

  10. This appointment is just another in a long list of Trudope’s continued practice of rubbing our noses in his insane race baiting crap . The sad thing is that there are not enough clear thinking Canadians to do anything about it . The western world as we know it is being run by truly evil scum .If and when he wins another term all conservative sites will be labelled with the usual vitriol and shut down . Enjoy it while you can .

  11. Only in the deranged dominion do we get an accidentally rational comment from a politically special provincial Minister of Silly Walks that questions the gross conflict of interest of hiring an outspoken Islamist to exercise thought control to prevent rational criticism of her retrograde theocracy. Any spokesman from any other province would have suffered the wrath of the Spawn’s media.

  12. Her anti-Semitism is pretty tame compared to the anti-Russian stuff I see posted by some commenters here.

  13. consequence-free governance.

A great phrase, Kate. Politicos today run as if on a game show, the only thought is of playing to the electorate to get the comfy cushion. There’s a government bureaucracy to actually (not) do things and take the blame if they go wrong. Further, they do not suffer the consequences of their own governing, being insulated by wealth, security, limos and the rest. Rishi Sunak is a great exemplar of that – he has absolutely no idea what to do with government now that he has got it; all his thoughts were into getting it as some kind of badge of honour. He doesn’t need the job except for his ego and maybe doesn’t even want it now he has it.

    1. They all think they’re cast members on “West Wing.”
Noble, progressive warriors. Everything they do and say is beyond reproach or questioning because they are always correct.

  14. Public Anger ?
Maybe more people are paying a bit more attention to politics, but I’m seeing more denial, then gut wrenching righteous anger. It’s is Ontario though.
People get more pissed at the person that points out just what governments has done to people the last three years let alone what’s lead up to the chaos.
Heck throwing pea stone at shiny pony was almost to violent for the masses.
It’s a whole damn prog movement, all they’ll do is turn it down a hair, and it will still be fermenting ready to bloom, when the apathy takes it’s lovely hold on people kind again. That is if it’s even subsided.
If people can muster a polite FU , I’d be surprised
One things for sure Modern Liberalism needs some bleach.

  15. No she must stay until her and Singh get rid of the Butler Rapist and Molester King Charles. Let him be the last lisping foreigner to be associated with Canada.
We have our own Narcissist in Chief, Justin Trudeau, the Illegitimate Pup out of Old Fidel. Juthtin Queeny Thingy of Canada

  16. Matt Gurney can go f*** himself, firstly. Second, it’s clear Trudeau knows his ONLY electoral chance is going whole-hog (purposely put that in for the Muslim brothers) after the brown/yellow/red/anything but white vote. When’s the next election – 2025? That’s about 1.5 million+ ‘New Canadians’ from now. That will swing the results for certain.

    1. It’s only a problem when Quebec says it is. The ROC doesn’t count – we are well and truly a colony of New France, to be raided and plundered at their behest.

      1. That would make a great rallying cry for western separatists. Even if it doesn’t result in western separation, it might motivate Quebec to leave their bankrupt shakedown (ROC) sugar-daddy. Either result is a benefit.

        1. Still waiting for Smith to start extricating Alberta from Canada’s colonial grip. It’s early but it appears we’ll go through another conservative premier with nothing gained towards determining our own destiny.

      1. He’s an arrogant Eastern asshole. His assholery was especially evident in his writings on the Freedom Convoy. Of the same ilk as Andrew Coyne.

        1. Lamb

Gurney maybe everything you say but what’s that got to do with this thread? He’s calling out the LPC and then sticks it to them saying they usually know how to play the game to manipulate the outcome and now they can’t even do that. It’s a good comment and like yours doesn’t support this thread.

  17. Grab the popcorn! The Elite, special interest, Classes are having a cat fight. More and more folks in the west are in agreement with her move to cancel Canada day! As is one of the BQ’s mouth pieces. Hopefully this skirmish has legs as it hurts JT where his vote buying lives.

  18. The ROC keeps being shown the path from the light that shines out of K-bec’s arsehole and still won’t follow their lead to the promised land – at the very least – of provincial autonomy.
K-bec is decades past playing the victim card.
    They control their own destiny.
The ROC is a stupid place.

  19. I don’t understand the regular vitriol that targets Quebec from the ROC including some on this website. They believe they are a ‘distinct society’ and make no apologies for it.

    Preservation envy, I guess.

    1. “Preservation envy”? Not even close. They want a distinct society? Go for it. Hair on ’em. As long as it doesn’t affect the ROC.

It’s the fact that over $200 billion has gone directly from from the backs of Alberta tax payers into the pockets of Kaybeckers under the guise of “equalization” when Kaybeck’s hydroelectricity isn’t included in the formula. It’s the fact that Kaybeck gets a guaranteed, disproportionate amount of judges on the SCOC. It’s the fact that a number of Kaybeck businesses get preferential treatment for contracts from the federal gov’t. It’s the fact that there’s French stuck on the back of every GD cereal box Canada-wide, yet Kaybeck is ruling for less & less English.

I could go on at length, but that should be enough to whet your appetite.

      1. Les Quebecois are politically savvy and will direct enough of a ‘bloc’ identity vote to advance their national and economic interest when needed. . They’ve shown they can have their cake and eat it too.

I’m not jealous of them, instead I’m highly respectful of them.

In 100 years there will be still a French Canada, and what used to be English Canada will be Gone With the Wind.

        1. I might “respect” them if they were to actually become a distinct society on their own. Being a “distinct society” while parasitizing and gaming the ROC makes them parasites and gamers and there’s nothing deserving of respect about that.

          1. Quebec knows how to treat the feds: Ignore them and treat them as a cash-cow.
Alberta doesn’t know how to treat the feds: Bend to their every whim, and blame Quebec, just like the feds want them to. What a bunch of idiots.

        2. I don’t care if English Candaduh is gone or not. That stopped being a priority for me decades ago.

I care about leaving a better future for my children & grandchildren. If that means this shithole is cut into a dozen different independent pieces, so be it.

I cannot respect a parasite who destroys its host.

    2. By all means, let them preserve their distinct society. I think this is best served as their own nation and with their own money. I, for one, am tired of paying for somebody else’s distinct society.

  20. Whatever.. Minister of opinion and unmeasurable things.. The next commissar grifter will be no better..

  21. Not on Twitter so I can’t reply to Mr. Gurney but Kate’s observation, as usual, is spot on. My response to Mr. Gurney’s post from back in June is that no, Le Dauphin, is not a “very, good politician” nor does he have any useful, “formidable talents.” He does have a talent as a high school drama teacher, to charm the low information voters and the parasite class (who would vote for him anyways as long as the gravy train keeps a comin’)

The liarberals only care about one thing:power and the riches it provides. They are very, very good at achieving what they covet by any means necessary. When Le Dauphin has worn out his welcome, he will be sent on his way. Oh, they will give him a nice send-off, but he will be relegated to the dust bin if it threatens their hold as the “natural ruling party of cantaduh”

I can recall at a family dinner, we almost unanimously agreed that Le Dauphin was a disgusting, mindless twit. However, my sister-in-law (married my wife’s brother, originally from a Latin American country) protested our conclusion because; “he’s so good looking” Holy Christ in Heaven I thought! If ever there was an argument for women not having the vote, there it was.

At some point, when you f3!K up that many times, both on purpose and accidentally, people start to notice. Even the most obtuse of voters (and let’s face it, cantaduh is replete with the obtuse) starts to pay attention when their grocery bills go through the roof, thy’re being punished for trying to stay warm in January, they have to try to drink their pop through a paper straw while you can almost walk across the Yangtze from all the plastic in it, liarberal friends keep getting fat contracts, they have to wait months for medical procedures and they can’t afford a home. Finally, the complacent, smug, self-righteous, cantanadian starts to take notice.
The CBC and their fellow travellers can only do so much.

  22. Growing up my Dad always referred to “Canada and Quebec’ as separate entities – Always – He never spoke of Quebec and the rest of Canada(ROC) as he never considered Quebec as wanting to be part of Canada after the FLQ horseshit – I still prefer to refer to it as Canada and Quebec – This ROC nonsense shows me that Quebec has indeed separated in the eyes of Canadians but has it so good they’d be fools to make it official –

  23. A liberal coworker (aren’t they all) was up in arms today that over the weekend bridges in the 416 (center of the universe) had flag waving F-Trudeau people protesting..

Life is good when Mr. Boosted 5 times is forced to see the other side of the coin.. As if his peace of mind is the only thing that matters..

  24. rumours in the air of a pending Freeland resignation. something about being caught spending 2 billion for nothing

  25. Trudeau and the Libs were also lucky to enjoy much support from CPC leaders Erin O’Foole and Andrew Sheep, and accordingly most CPC MPs.

Now that Poilievre is leading and speaking up, things do look bleak for the LPC.

  26. Gurney’s got it right. He’s saying the libranos don’t do politics very well these days. If you’ve followed him at all over the years you know he’s no fan of the Bong and the LPC.

Gurney is a firearm owner and military historian. He’s saying the libranos have flip flopped on their own gun ban legislation. They’re inept (like they are with everything) and can’t get it right. He’s no fan of the legislation and has repeatedly and constantly spoken against it.

This appointment is much like the Bongs judgement on Julie Payette.

So, no, Gurney’s comment doesn’t support the premise.

  27. Quebec and the press will stop this the minute Justin offers them something.

    This isn’t outrage; it’s a shakedown.
