Uh oh, someone really, really wants him gone.
The White House and Justice Department (DOJ) reportedly agreed to hide President Joe Biden’s classified document scandal from the American people until it leaked to the press, despite their repeated claims of transparency.
Not only did the White House and DOJ try to obscure the scandal from public view, but they also refused to divulge that the second trove of classified documents were already unearthed at Biden’s home in Wilmington when CBS News first contacted the White House about the initial leak of classified documents apparently illegally stored at the Biden Penn Center, according to the Washington Post: “Early on, Biden’s attorneys and Justice Department investigators both thought they had a shared understanding about keeping the matter quiet,” the Post admitted, noting the Biden administration’s attempt to conceal revelations of the second trove of stashed documents.
The question isn’t who wants him gone, it’s who is afraid that Biden has dirt on them that gets revealed if he does get pushed out?

Reports that indicate or imply that those Presidential records were in the possession of the former Presidents or their representatives, after they left office, or that the records were housed in substandard conditions, are false and misleading.

So yeah, that might be the plan, he got in because they could control him because he is corrupt and senile, and now the senility is increasing to the point of loss of basic functions, including bodily functions. I don’t think so, they tried to keep a lid on this. Yes he’s becoming more and more of an embarrassment to the party but they know full well that Kammy in office would be orders of magnitude worse. There won’t be any repercussions because he’s Democrat, he’s saintly, an amazingly successful president, one of the best ever.
Trump, on the other hand was evil incarnate, everything he did was worse than Hitler.

You know, I don’t think they put Joe up for office for any reason other than to get Trump legally.
Joe didn’t have a prayer at first in the primary. Then the phone conversation where Trump asked the Ukrainian president to look into corruption charges that could implicate Biden got leaked…. The only way the Dems could make the charge of using influence of office against a political rival stick was to make Joe the rival. Within days, Joe became the favored front runner.
They knew they could carry him across the finish line with covid modified mail in voting, they could carry whoever they wanted. But if they could impeach Trump it would be all the better.
Up until the midterm results came in, I would have said that there’s simply no way that Harris could ever win (re)election to the presidency, as she’s actually a terrible politician who couldn’t even make through, what was it, one or two rounds of the Democrat primary before withdrawing.
But then the midterms came in and it’s clear that federal elections are thoroughly controlled by Democrats and the presidency will be a Democrat sinecure through this decade. Mail-in ballot harvesting ensures Democrat victory in all necessary swing states, and the RNC is perfectly fine with that as they prefer being in opposition anyway.
So.. yeah. Harris really could turn out to be a ~9.9 year POTUS if that’s what the insiders actually want. I think that was the original plan anyway, but the insiders really had a long think about it when they realized just how stupid Harris really is. Perhaps the decision has been made that Biden is too far gone to keep around now and the insiders are willing to throw Harris into the big chair. We shall see.
I think it’s more likely that Newsom is maneuvered into the big chair for January 2025 though.
Which begs the question: why don’t Republicans harvest votes?

Nope. Not really. Republicans want money. They get money by fund raising. They fund raise far more effectively as opposition than in power. They make promises they never have to keep. The big tell for me was when they finally got all three of the Senate, House and Presidency in 2017, and suddenly they couldn’t deliver on a single damn thing they promised. No money for the border. No repeal of Obamacare. No return to proper budgeting. Etc. They sat on their hands for two years, threw the midterms and let Trump’s presidency largely go to waste.
The RNC needs to be burned to ash.

The question remains… if the DOJ/FBI was so eager to cover up evidence of Brandon’s criminal negligence in handling highly classified documents, why did they allow outside lawyers to handle the “discovery” of those papers? Had it been done quietly by government agents, nobody would be the wiser, even decades from now.
So, since DOJ/FBI allowed Brandon’s attorneys to do the search and discovery, just what was it that DOJ/FBI wanted to make sure was forever hidden from their own eyes? This affair stinks of cover-up like weeks-old fish laying in the desert sun.
At this point I’m not so sure that this effort is aimed so much at forcing Brandon’s resignation, as at protecting him from criminal prosecution.
So … When the FBI RAIDED Mar a Lago it was apparent that the National Archives knew EXACTLY what documents they believe Trump had taken … and asked with great specificity … for those exact documents to be returned.
How is it that Brandon can have multiple documents that The National Archives (apparently) knew nothing about? Weren’t the least bit interested in recovering after 5+ years?
