20 Replies to “Justin’s New Military”

  1. Shoot those damn ‘bouncy castles’.
They drive our politicians into an absolute insanity.

Don’t be surprised when Trudeau invoking people into his ‘new army’ by force…
All indications from what he has done and currently doing will force a need for personal security of politicians which would mean the government needs their own personal military in Canada.

  2. “…It follows a cabinet-appointed panel’s recommendation that Catholic chaplains be purged from the army, navy and air force over church teachings that contradict federal policy”

It sure as hell wasn’t any preaching about the evils of lockdowns and mandatory jabs for the military that contradicted federal policy.

    1. The Roman Catholic church has been a great institution, for good and bad. Unfortunately throughout history many people have joined because they like the power and wealth.
In reality there are no Christian institutions. The only Christian is the individual saved by Christ by the grace of God.
The Catholic church (and many others) have failed in holding the government accountable to God and to the people. Indeed, without renewal, at some point the “Christian” institutions obstruct people from trusting in God.
We need God fearing people and churches that hold the government accountable.

    2. The Church has been too busy preaching against the evils of communism and STILL being the biggest charity on the planet.

Take a good look at this and every other communist attempt at power. It doesn’t ban the Church because the Church is onside with communism.

  3. I wonder if they’ve actually determined the number of queers in the navy, army and air force? Sounds like a fake problem.

How would a straight feel having to talk to a homo or fake trans chaplain? Why are we only worried about the queer service members’ needs? Are the spiritual needs of the straight members less important?

    1. given the “diversity” goals, they probably have a good idea, as it’s one of the “diverse” things considered by the promotion board….

and straight members can go discuss their spiritual needs with the United minister that denies the existence of god…

  4. There’s really no need to replace Catholic chaplains with gay advisors. Remember: 95% of the cases of children molested by priests involved male victims, at least here in the USA.

    1. But the Catholic Chaplins prefer boys be boys. The new ones will want to play dressup with Suzie’s wardrobe.

  5. Purging Padres from the Service certainly won’t help drive up recruitment numbers. Back in the day when we embarked a Padre, even a Catholic one, for a few days at sea his background was immaterial: the point was that we had clergy on board. We adapted.

  6. So… A Liberal appointed gaggle of apparatchiks has recommended that anything that contradicts federal policy be purged from everything. This, of course, under a Liberal government, already happens with all sorts of federal (Liberal) funding, from charities, to legacy media and newspapers, abortion clinics, to all sorts of businesses based in Quebec from multinational engineering firms, aircraft and snowmobile manufacturers to railways and airlines. Your tax money is generously distributed to a plethora of federal (Liberal) policy compliant grifters. Welcome to Canada. Land of Liberal approved grift.

  7. A little birdie told me the military is also hiring yoga instructors for basic training.

  8. So Liberals are bigoted pigs. I come here for news and you give me the obvious. I’m not Catholic but I can’t understand how anyone could be so hateful.

  9. Why then not ban the Muzz chaplains also. From what I understand, their perspective on our homosexual brothers and sisters is even worse aligned with the “progressive” viewpoint than that of the Catholics.

At least the Catholic doctrine is to love the sinner while hating the sin.

  10. During WW II, my aunt’s husband – and my godfather – was an army chaplain. He did not see actual combat, but his experience counselling those who did changed him forever. This purge of Christian chaplains is not going to go well; even secular soldiers have been known to find the chaplain a welcome help.
