Your Moral And Intellectual Superiors

“There always has to be a centre of evil in the United States…”

Matt: Now, Walter, you’re in New York right now. But you’re not where you usually are, which apparently is a hotbed of Christian nationalism. Is that right?

Walter: Well, that’s right. I woke up last week in Livingston Montana, my home, to find out courtesy of the New York Times Magazine in an early edition which usually comes out on Sunday, that I live in a near theocracy, hard-right, Christian nationalist state.

Oh, and Yellowstone, of course. Audio here.

  1. Fifteen years ago or so when the Ontario Landowners movement was gaining momentum, we faced this same kind of NYT smearing that these fellows are talking about from the Trawna press. To a peoplekind, they didn’t have an original thought or question in their vacuous heads and devoted all their energies trying to substantiate their predetermined headlines about “militant ” farmers. And when they couldn’t find any guns or bibles they simply made stuff up.

  2. Yes, that area does have a history with militant Christian Dominionist weirdos as does eastern Washington state. Thanks for asking.

    1. Got a link to back that up or are you just talking out of your ass again? On second thought, don’t bother. We all know it’s your cranio-rectal inversion at work. Just like your denial that respirators were killing Covid patients and that it was known early on by everyone except you.

          1. They’re not taking over anything. So many Muslims converted to just Catholicism in Germany that they had to rent pools for baptisement at one point. In any event, Muslims aren’t banning abortion in America.

      1. I like it when he cheerleads for anal sex. Still, you take what you can get, I guess.

      2. I can’t provide a link. However, several years ago, “The Independent” which is a leftist paper locally published in Missoula, had an article about “what is conservatism” or some such. It was supposed to be about typical conservatives. What they did was go to a meeting of a fringe group, which may have been Oath Keepers, but I think it was something much smaller. Most people will not have heard of them. I certainly hadn’t. You can really see the message as “the whole state is like these ten people” sort of deception that Matt and Walter are talking about.
I live in the Flathead Valley, and The Independent was available free in various places. I have not seen it for a few years, so not sure if it is still around. Part of a national brand. Back in the 1980s I lived in Toronto, and there was a “Now” paper which was pretty much the same sort of thing.

  3. I was born in Manhattan in 1947. I joined the US Army @ 18 to fight Communism back in the 1960’s and was a spy against the USSR and the Warsaw Pact. I never went back to New York City. I moved to Montana 30 years ago from Pennsylvania. I took my AR-15 and my clothes. That’s about it.

The NY Times is run by 3rd rate Marxists who are Jews by birth but who hate Israel. They are hopelessly woke and stupid. New York City’s big (4) boroughs: Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn voted 90% for Clinton in 2016 and Biden in 2020. They are by definition batshit crazy.

The good news is that Republicans nationally are 4 to 5 times as likely as Democrats to want to leave where they live for ideological reasons. That means that New York City Democrats are happy to be there just as the Democrats are happy to live in California, Illinois and other states that are experiencing the fleeing of its Republican, Conservative, Libertarian middle class. This is all good. We are sewlf sorting according to our beliefs in liberty, freedom and natural rights.

  4. If I were to live in the ‘States, Idaho would be my first choice, and Montana, second.

Also, religious people are more in favor of continuing their lines, which is why groups like the Amish, for all their flaws continue to stick around, while wokism will perish in the end.

  5. What is Christian nationalism? I Thought Christianity was for those who believe that the man Jesus was the savior and son of god. Further, is also broken up into various religious sects such as Catholic and Protestant and further to Methodist, United, laughingly, my fave … Holy Rollers, Amish and various other scary gangs. WHICH ARE NOT A NATION!

The only small groups that are allowed to be called ‘nations’ are Native Canadian and American Indians.

I think the point is simply that those clowns who mock religion are those who worship the state. As if the state gives a shit about them.

    1. Christian nationalists want a state devoted to imposing Christian values as they interpret them onto the population at large de jure. Basically Biblical Iran.

      1. Point out these ultra right terrorists. i.e. their multitude of followers.

Do keep in mind, that only ultra left loons pay them any mind and you are suspected to be one of them.

          1. Not true, but thanks for trying.

Unless you think the Bill of Rights is too “biblical?” Because last I checked the left hates the Constitution and the right is trying to defend the rule of law.

    2. It’s something they came up with in some closed media “journolist” for use in smear pieces.

You see these derogatory terms and phrases come in waves because there’s coordination behind the scenes between the like-minded.

      1. It’s a fact whether you like it or not. Reality exists, deal with it or it will deal with you.

  6. Quiverfull vs woke SJW: It is a foregone conclusion at which will be around a century into the future.

Also, these are the kinds of elitist swine who look down on those who can do their own construction, maintenance and repairs.

  7. Wife and I were passing through Billings back in ’07 when our van broke down. Had to stay overnight while it was fixed, and the people there were really friendly. I knew I was going to like the place when I saw a YUGE billboard for RCBS reloading products.
    I’d move there anytime.

    1. Ten craft breweries! Including two of my favorite, Uberbrew & Carters! Just east of Billings is a little town w/ a great restaurant serving up wonderful ‘Cue.

  8. Don’t worry Kevin Costner and Liz Cheney are on the case. Finding out that Costner is a total idiot ruined Yellowstone for me. Can’t stand a squish pretending to be a hard ass.

    1. Thomas, have you got any links to share? I’m not familiar with what you’ve learned. Cheers.

  9. Ok…now I want to watch Yellowstone. I was avoiding it because of Costner, but might have to cave.

  10. I too, caught the enthusiastic ravings that Costner did on support of Cheney. as to the Yellowstone show, I haven’t seen it. The idea of a soap opera about rich cowboys just didn’t appeal!

  11. Abe Streep wrote the stupid article. I printed it out before the NYT made me pay for it.

The idiot author talks about how in Montana the “Native Americans” are totally mistreated. He found an Indian to talk to named
Ta’jin Perez of the “Totonac Indigenous.”

In Montana we have (7) Reservations for Blackfeet, Crow, Sioux, Assiniboine, Salish, Kootenai, Chippewa, Cree, Crow, Gros Ventre, Little Shell and Cheyenne but not oddly enough for Totonacs? Why not? Pretty simple because they are not “Native Americans” – they are are from Southern Mexico. We also don’t have Reservations for Mongolians, Incas or Visigoths but don’t tell the Marxists and Fascists at the New York Times.

  12. Been ruminating about this lately.
There is this phrase that comes to mind with the woke corporations, woke media and most of the wokeness.
The phrase is, Fascism by proxy.

Have observed as in case of Disney, the “social media” companies or the noted newspaper that they do the fascism on behalf of the rulers.
The rulers don’t need to do a damn thing, all they have to do is follow what the rulers drift is and they work it into their comentaries.

This is much more pronounced in this country, see the recent attack on Peterson. The rulers are completely isolated from it, while those that are interested in the affairs of men, know, where the orders came from. This is not mystery to anyone that is aware of life.

Fascism by proxy will take over, you will lose your job, you will be purged from school, you will be put on a display if you’re better known to public.
I understand that people reading will not believe this, though I know this from directly, firsthand experience of my parents, of course those rulers called themselves communists.
Eventually there will be the critical mass that will stop it, though there is going to be a lot of mayhem before that happens.
The plebeians are good with things when things allow them to get free stuff. Once that will come to an end, and it will, that will be the turning point.
It would be better if it happens before it gets to blows, though there is only a slight chance of that.
