5. Perhaps the Red Tory Mayor wants to drive away those now paying property taxes that must increase by his “generosity” so that Trudeau’s people can afford to live there. Unfortunately for Tory The Red, math is difficult. By increasing property tax and at best his magnanimity on behalf of the others will increase supply by at most, 3000 units (high rise condos, 2 to 3 years out), housing costs will continue, thanks to government at all levels, to increase in the sacred capital of the universe. Prices, however, will likely continue falling as the greater depression unfolds. The market will eventually lower housing costs when many who have mortgaged in at the peak price and low rates will find themselves under water and walk away. Not even the Spawn’s generosity with the forgone wealth of the unborn can prevent that.

Translation… $7.08 M to pay for studies and more people pushing papers to find more ways to keep people who refuse to pay rent from paying rent. I know a few small landlords who are living in rentals themselves because they are waiting for evictions on tenants who have not paid rent for over a year or more. Can’t sell a unit with a bad tenant who refuses access so had to sell their own home living worse off than the people holding their property hostage legally, thanks to the “human rights” of the Landlord Tenant Board and their snail pace system. We had more than enough of our own people to take care of and our own problems with homelessness before the extra 431,645 people to babysit.
