Speculation on 24 year old NFL player, Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest continues.  The obsolete media is leaning heavily on the theory that it was “Commotio cordis“. Others are leaning towards the Jab as the culprit. Actual evidence via tests has yet to be made public.

Addendum, from Kate: Its generally unwise to speculate on the cause of any specific, high profile case such as this, because of the obvious risk in having it blow up in your face and thereby undermine whatever credibility you might have going forward in legitimate discussions on vaccine safety.

I cannot for the life of me understand why some of the public profiles mentioned above have chosen to do so.

Should the topic come up in discussion, and I’m pressed for an opinion, my current response is “climate change”. If you’re going to exploit a tragedy to promote a narrative, make it their stupid narrative.

  6. I have suffered commotio injurio, cordis’ less severe cousin (getting struck repeatedly in the chest during karate training). It didn’t give me any severe problems other than an occasional irregular (missing) heartbeat every odd cycle or so (believe me, that is weird enough). To suffer commotio cordis, you have to hit someone fairly precisely on the chest in a 35 millisecond window during their heartbeat. It is not very common with less than 30 reported cases per year (https://www.healthline.com/health/commotio-cordis#risk-factors).

    Is the case being discussed here commotio cordis? Possibly and it could also be a vaccination injury or a combination. That is why there must be a clinical diagnosis by a qualified physician. The problem that we are seeing more widely is vaccine injury and there is a large reluctance to discuss that issue in the mainstream media because of all of the incestuous financial connections between the mainstream media and the pharmaceutical industry.

    1. It’s not just the money. They have been pushing the jabs hard ever since they came out. They called for the refuseniks to be locked up, or to be denied medical care, to be shunned. Lots of persecution and discrimination toward those skeptical of experimental new technology that was still a couple of years away from finishing the clinical trials, and which already had plenty of red flags in the results from the early tests. Data that the mainstream media suppressed but was visible on more conservative sites.

      If, now, the stuff is revealed to be crippling and killing so many, the MS media’s already-damaged credibility will fall to zero, and they might face massive class-action lawsuits from the injured or families of the deceased. That can’t have that, so they hunker down and refuse to talk about it.

        I don’t support giving COVID vaccines to youths because there are good studies that show there is SOME risk to it, and that the benefits are relatively mild. But the idea that the vaccine is some kind of toxin is absurd, and not supported by the science.

            Far more the 29 athletes die of cardiac arrest every year. The NCAA alone had about 10 deaths a year. The FIFA death registry listed over 100 deaths a year between 2014 and 2018 playing soccer. Most were found to have suffered heart disease.

    6. People are speculating because there have been a shocking number of athlete heart attacks and deaths since the vaccine rollouts. Most sports are requiring compliance. We may not know for certain if the vaccine was an issue in this case, but that ignores the bigger issue: vaccine induced myocarditis. The fact that the media, sports associations, politicians and health agencies refuse to investigate is a problem. The fact that even the post- vaccine deaths of some 80 Canadian doctors is not being investigated is sinister. It is not surprising that people are using this latest case to draw attention to the problem. Also not surprising that ” authorities” are trying to shut people up.

      1. How do you know there have been a “shocking number”? The only way to determine that is to compare statistics before and after the pandemic. Cherry picking headlines is a bad way to go.

        And vaccine-caused myocarditis has been studied — extensively. There is some debate over whether the vaccine increases or decreases the chances of myocarditis among the young, as COVID itself can cause myocarditis.

McCullough recently repeated the statistic. I don’t have it in front of me, but not hard to find– and it is shocking. If you doubt the stats that are emerging signaling significant all- cause mortality since the vaccines, I suggest you look at Cause Unknown, Dowd’s book documenting the significant rise in deaths in heavily vaxed countries.

    I am unwilling to believe anything ‘reported’ by the YSM (Yellow Stream Media). The YSM is paid to push the narrative du jour. (It’s so bad, if they report that it is raining, I look out the window to fact check them. They will publish any useful lie.) So I will cross commotio cordis off my list because that’s the narrative and the hit (and padding) I saw aren’t consistent with the commotio cordis incidents I’ve seen reported in the past.

    It won’t surprise me if we will never know the cause. If it’s due to the jabs, that will never be reported. And if it’s suspected to be related to the jab, I don’t think anyone will be looking very hard for the answer.

    I think the case is jab related, but I also think I will never know what the real cause was.

    We just learned Hamlin was resuscitated twice, once on the field (with ROSC) and again in the hospital.

    As a cardiologist this makes commotio cordis less likely. If the impact caused an arrhythmia and rhythm was restored, he wouldn’t arrest again an hour later. Full eval needed.

      There’s some of that evidence I referred to earlier. It’s not concrete proof, but it is easily the justification for a proper investigation to be initiated. People with nothing to hide will likely support such actions.

    Covid (in its original form) is known to cause heart issues. The vaccine increasingly looks like it can cause heart issues (especially in active young people). People can have heart issues unrelated to covid or the vaccine which they can experience before or after being vaccinated.

    How can you definitively tell if the vaccine is the culprit, a catalyst, a red herring, or a positive in reducing these problems? To date only 1 NFL player has ever died during a football game.

  22. Dr. Peter McCullough pointed out in a recent paper that since the shots were deployed, 1598 athletes have suffered cardiac arrest, with 1101 of them dying. In order to find 1101 similar athlete deaths he has to examine a 38-year period.

    After what we’ve been put through, after the coercion, the lies, the censorship, and the massive propaganda campaign, I’d say we’re allowed to talk to each other about what’s going on. It boggles my mind that anyone could consider such talk to be an act of disrespect toward a suffering man.

    And if not now, when exactly would be the appropriate moment? Three weeks from now? A year? Ten years, by which time everyone will be pretending to have been an opponent of the shots all along?

What you are all missing by focusing on this single collapse is the underlining fact that these collapses and deaths are not only occurring on the athletic fields world wide, they are also occurring on stage and broadcasting venues around the world in front of live audiences. When you see a talking head broadcasting the news in Brazil or Italy or Spain keel over and there is an immediate commercial break there is something wrong. Lets get real here, the injection was introduced under an experimental procedure under questionable circumstances. If there is a suspension of the injection program instigated while an investigation into all of the excess deaths that are being recorded is conducted what will be the result, absolutely nothing, because there has been too much damage done to the system to rectify it. If it is proven that the injections were the cause of these excess deaths what can be done to correct the damage, Nothing! If the investigation ‘proves’ the injections are not at fault who at this point is going to believe any medical ‘expert’ and continue to line up for the next booster?

      1. I just wish people would be more cautious in general about anecdotal cases. A number of “young doctor” and sudden death cases I followed up on independently (yes, I do) have been suicides, long standing illnesses, and so forth.

        Yet I find these same cases splattered all over social media, replicated by people who have large followings and could have done the same homework I did, but didn’t bother to.

        1. It is a fact that excess mortality is up by 10-20% in highly jabbed western countries since the “vaccines” have been rolled out. People have begun to notice the baffling cases of “sudden death” and yet asking the question “why?” is being suppressed.

    Hamlin’s torso is at an angle and he rolls through the impact and actually uses the other player’s momentum to throw him to the ground. He put himself in the other player’s way and knew exactly what he was doing, and was clearly ready to absorb the impact.
    Also the point where the other player’s shoulder hits him appears to be to the left of the commotio cordis “sweet spot”.
    Notwithstanding that I tend to agree that we can look like chumps if we jump to the wrong conclusion, I’m going to go out on a (short) limb and say I don’t buy that it’s “commotio cordis”.
    Also someone else pointed out that the NFL and other sundry pundits were awfully quick to trot out commotio cordis as a cause, along with the Pronger video. It’s almost as though they had it teed up, ready to go for just such an incident.
    And how likely is it that they are going to tell us the truth or that we could risk that they are, what with all the lies we’ve been told?

    2. It wasn’t “teed up”. Hundreds of cardiologists saw the video and within minutes were weighing in with that possible explanation — because that’s their expertise. That it then made its way to media is a given, because a cardiologist is a credible opinion source.

      1. Two things:
        Nuance in language is important. Hence “It’s almost as though” ought to be seen as having a meaning different from “it was”. I’m not saying they absolutely did, I’m saying I’m suspicious.
        Also as far as credible opinion sources go, I think we can all agree that over the last three years medical professionals have blown, or have had blown, huge holes in their credibility. And especially seeing how cardiac events are a known and not uncommon side effect of the shots, any rush to dismiss them as a contributor, even by credentialed experts, rightly ought to be viewed with a great deal of suspicion.

And now that we’ve learned of his second heart stoppage when he arrived at the hospital … are the same cardiologists now weighing in with their expertise announcing there is no way the original attack happened because of commotio cardis… ? It appears as though a group of cardiologists were awfully anxious to offer that explanation … despite it NEVER happening in football EVER before

You know I agree with you … but when something like these odd heart attacks start happening far more than normal (I believe there is ample statistical evidence to suggest they are) … then it warrants investigation. But instead of scientific and medical curiosity … there is an embargo on even discussing the possibility that the mRNA shots may be a cause. That’s not how we advance medicine or science.

          That’s actually quite frightening to me … that “the shots” have a political advocacy behind them … much as Transgenderism has political advocates who are actively destroying biological truth. If we truly “believe in science” … we’d be further investigating and testing the mRNA vaccines with the same effort we put into developing them.

No idea and I will wait to make my personal assumptions after there is more false news about it but… given the number of drugs these guys claim not to use I wouldn’t be surprised if some NYE party could have had an impact. It seems the younger athletic men like to dabble in Viagra and X and other not so noticeable party drugs as I have been witness to many times over the years. An insider at the most commonly booked hotels for various teams “away” games report plenty of packaging cleaned up when the players leave. “Because Viagra is a vasodilator, it helps open up blood vessels and arteries. You might think that this would actually help to reduce the risk of a heart attack, but, there have been reports of heart attack, stroke, arrhythmia and even death in men taking Viagra.” So could be anything really but surely combined with needles known to clot it likely isn’t anything naturally caused.

  32. Ive been hesitant to share this publicly but its time now, as this issue seems to have touched every family to a certain degree. Found our 40 year male employee dead on our bathroom floor the morning of Nov 5 2022. Autopsy report was, his heart was restricted in two main arteries. He smoked and did not treat himself well but was not obese and worked long hours at a high energy level. Early Oct he began to lose his energy level and complained his arms were extremely sore with a tingling sensation. Looking back now, these were the signs of heart issues.
    His reasoning for vaxx, were to be able to go to restaurants, which is irrational in my opinion. To my point, he did not need to be vaxxed, just like all the elite athletes, all young men and children.
    The shots should be halted, FULL STOP ! ……. data and questions need to be explored.
    Ive lost a friend/ employee and a family has lost their son/ brother. Its time to come together, think rationally before we become so polarized in our views that we lose everything.

    1. I’ve got 3 close and personal with heart issues this past year. Only 1 of these received the vax and his has been diagnosed as myocarditis as seems to be the case with the vax. The other 2 are no vax. My spouse is seeing a cardiologist as a result of him landing on his face (no vax) and me bringing him around when no prior heart issue and he is 36. Diagnosed at this point with arrhythmia but awaiting more testing (only been a year of Canadian wait times so I think this is still early, insert Canadian sarcasm). While the symptoms of the collapse screamed heart attack the talking heads claim it wasn’t. The 3rd is a teenager neighbour after a sport hit on the rugby field at school now seeing a cardiologist so far arrhythmia diagnosed but again waiting on the “Free healthcare” to get around to testing.
      I suspect some who had covid ended up with the same issues as those who got the shot… the verdict is still out but we refused to be lab rats for the government in any event.

A new deadly virus has caused a pandemic that is killing millions of people … all by itself. This virus arose in a wet market in Wuhan China and even though the Wuhan Institute of Virology, just down the road, was doing gain of function research on Corona viruses, it could not have come from there. And, presto, a brand new kind of vaccine was safely made ready in no time flat and if you take it, you will NOT get COVID. The vaccine is completely safe and effective! However, you need a booster every two months. Masks aren’t necessary, masks are necessary. They work to prevent illness, they don’t work to prevent illness. We need to shut down our entire economy. Stay home. No gathering unless it’s a bar with a drag show or a BLM/Antifa riot. Trust us.

Even if Malone was a 100% correct the media will castigate like a Rittenhouse or Carrington boy, and fabricate a narrative of Malone having a punchable face.     If you say “let’s just wait”, I have to ask – wait for what? I no longer have sufficient trust in our “authorities” to care what they might deign to announce.

  47. Much is not yet known and may never be known about what caused Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest in the Jan. 2 Buffalo Bills-Cincinnati Bengals football game. But some urgent observations can be made.

    There has been an indisputable rise in cardiac-related injuries and mortality rates attributed to myocarditis among younger athletes in countries across the world. In his indispensable and fact-based book “Cause Unknown”: The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 and 2022, former BlackRock Managing Director Edward Dowd shows that “the unexpected sudden deaths of young athletes, known to be the healthiest among us,” is plainly “not normal.” Robert F. Kennedy, who wrote the Foreword, points to this “entirely new kind of trend: the expanding and tragic epidemic of sudden deaths among healthy young people.” The number of such traumatic events, culminating in life-threatening injuries and seemingly inexplicable deaths, in the period after the vaccines and especially the booster shots, is as shocking as it is undeniable.

    Clearly, I am neither a medical specialist nor was I physically present when Bills’ safety Damar Hamlin collapsed immobile to the turf after what appeared on the TV screen to be a rather unexceptional tackle, so I cannot pronounce with any authority as to the cause of the young man’s misfortune. At the same time, I cannot take seriously a tweet by vaccine advocate Dr. Chris Haddock, who immediately, without consultation or treatment, as if to pre-empt any counter theory, diagnosed the tragedy as owing to commotio cardis and denounced anyone proposing a link to the mRNA injections as “terrible, horrible people.” Commotio cardis is possible, though extremely rare. But the man doth protest too much, methinks.

    As Alex Berenson writes, “Most people are only vaguely aware of the (now-confirmed) risks of mRNA vaccines and myocarditis in young men. Allowing open discussion of the issue in this context would probably do more to damage confidence in the Covid vaccines than anything that has happened so far,” which is why it is constantly downplayed. Berenson mentions #MedTwitter’s Dr. Jonathan Reiner, who “knows the Covid jabs that he pressed colleges to mandate for their students and employees to mandate for their workers could not have caused Damar Hamlin’s injury. Reiner doesn’t need to examine Hamlin or see his medical records or talk to his family. He knows.”

    Reiner and those like him will not engage in discussion. As the good doctor says, vaccine skeptics are “the worst this country has to offer” and should “climb back under [their] rocks.” Such dogmatic evasiveness and gratuitous nastiness are par for the course among those who have propped up and reinforced the conventional narrative that vaccines, to cite the tired refrain, are “safe and effective.”

    More to the point, the European Heart Journal Case Reports makes clear that “Sudden cardiac death risk in contact sports [is] increased by myocarditis.” Myocarditis, it continues, involves “life-threatening ventricular arrhythmia secondary to non-penetrating blunt chest trauma while playing contact sports.”

    And myocarditis is avowedly a post-vaccine risk. The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), for example, has determined that “the risk of myocarditis after receiving mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines was increased across multiple age and sex strata and was highest after the second vaccination dose in adolescent males and young men.” Even the politically correct The Guardianaccepts such conclusions regarding post-vaccine-induced myocarditis. Despite the plethora of corporate and wire-service pseudo “fact-checkers” with a pro-vaccine agenda to grind, the problematic nature of the vaccines and boosters seems decisive. As author Gavin de Becker points out in the Afterword to Dowd’s book, with reams of convincing evidence, these substances are “known to cause heart and circulatory issues, neurological disorders, and stroke.”

    Obviously, I cannot definitively pronounce on the etiology of the Hamlin event or offer an inconvertible diagnosis. This is beyond my pay grade. But I should confide that I have long suspected something like this would happen and that I fully expect something similar to happen again. Dowd has referenced with photos and biographical detail the astounding number of recent sports injuries, mishaps, and worse, and furnished critical examples of false statistical modelling and compelling data from the Society of Actuaries confirming that a public campaign of quasi-scientific deception is in progress. He has linked to 100 authoritative scientific papers dealing with COVID-19 vaccine disasters, provided over 500 Compendium Samples and reports, five appendices, and over 20 official multi-nation graphs and charts attesting to the havoc caused subsequent to the mass vaccination program.

    I recently published an article on PJ Media on the alarming increase of injuries among NFL teams, leaving many of their rosters in tatters. The concluding paragraph is, I believe, worthy of consideration:

    “One can only hope that more and more people, as well as corporations and leagues, will realize that it is the height of folly to continue taking a significantly untested genomic substance into one’s body. We’ve had enough of this silent and often denied “mystery” of ordinary people, airline pilots, celebrities, journalists, royalty, and, yes, football players apparently succumbing to its effects, whether severely critical or generally debilitating. It’s time to blow the whistle.”

  48. We need to note the RATE of SADS compared to the historical rate of fatal vaccine injuries. Vaccines certainly do injure and kill, but is mRNA injection more risky than all that came before. The rate of adult “vaccination” for Covid has far surpassed any previous adult vaccination rate, so we should expect that sheer numbers of VAERS would skyrocket. However, these vax shots aren’t tested and proven acceptably non-lethal so the question no official body will answer is, “is there a disproportionate number of VAERS that logically is due to mRNA above and beyond the normal rate of reaction to vaccination?”

    1. The sheer lunacy of demanding everyone get “vaxxed” regardless of where they are on the risk/benefit scale is criminal. In addition. the forcing of women in child bearing age to take this crap even though Pfizer’s own studies showed that the “vaccine” particles heavily sequester in the ovaries is an abomination. ESPECIALLY that we now know that Pfizer never studied whether the “vaccine” stopped transmission and we have known for YEARS now that it didn’t. This whole thing is a bloody disgrace. It’s the MANDATING of this crap (and they AREN’T “vaccines”) that is criminal.
