    1. Someone should direct Newsom to his government’s website and ask him to explain where the “excess profits” are:

      and maybe also answer why California demands a different blend than the rest of the country (smog reduction mostly), that makes refinery costs higher, and of course the highest gas tax in the nation (approximately $1.18 per gallon, give or take)

    2. Indian Conservation scams. That is one stupid idea, they will buy quads and argo’s so they can get into areas that they have not already cleaned out all the wild life out of, if you want to have Indians do wild life conservation, ban Indian year round hunting and fishing. It is actually criminal what they are doing.

    Free advertising for the leftist propaganda outlets like Netflix plus bread and circuses for the slow witted public.
    No stories on Twitter exposing media and Democrat corruption, no stories on RCMP corruption or a dozen other Liberal scandals.

    Now that Twitter has been lost to the left I’ve seen more CTV and CBC stories promoting Facebook and Netflix garbage.

    Exactly.

    Why?

    They have no evolutionary need to have one.

    Humour is the evolutionary development of the nervous ‘smiling’ many mammals do when confronted with a situation they are uncertain about. It is the ‘see these teeth? I can bite you! Yeah! Don’t mess with me!’

    It is the middle ground. If the animal in question wants to go ya, they would have already. If they want to submit completely, likewise. This is the ‘I don’t want to fight you cause I am not sure I can easily win, but don’t know what you want yet’.

    With humans these developed. The relief from not having to fight someone felt good, so the smile began to be associated with the ‘feel good’. Smiling was what happened after a dangerous situation ended.

    So humour? Same principle. It is the ‘hey, I don’t really want to fight you’ message you give to strangers. It breaks the threat levels down. So if you don’t want to fight a stranger you joke to show you are no threat and relax them.

    So people who have to deal with strangers a lot tend to learn how to casually joke.

    People do don’t want to deal with strangers, don’t.

    Conservatives are willing to deal with all comers in order to find out what is best for their family. They tend to get humour.

    Socialists believe that if you don’t already agree with them you must be an Alt-Right Evil Evil Evil. They see no need to talk with you, so don’t see a need for jokes as a ice breaker.

    Evolution kids.
