  3. Maybe 20 or so years ago, my wife and I had way too much of smarmy Christmas movies. We started a tradition that lives on…
    We do “The 12 Days of Eastwood” always starting with Dirty Harry on Dec 13th.

    I know what you’re thinkin’ was that 6 shots or only 5? To tell the truth in all that excitement I lost count. You got to ask yourself one thing, punk “do I feel lucky’?

    1. Of all the damage done by this war to Ukraine, Mariupol is what makes me cringe most. It will take decades to recover even if restored to Ukraine. In Russian kleptocracy – probably forever. Of people who fled, most will not return as long as Russia controls it, a lot will not return regardless.

    To which I’m thinking technically that’s not a lie, Trudeau didn’t claim any deductions, the person who prepared Trudeau’s tax return claimed them.

    1. And, technically dpeaking, a charity donation yields a charity credit and not a charity deduction. So Trudeau’s handlers could have had him weasel out of this with that twist of words.

    3. Joe – I do taxes professionally. My clients claim the deductions on their tax returns; I merely prepare same and advise said clients as to what can, cannot, or should not be claimed. And David is correct; charitable donations claimed on a person’s tax return lead to a non-refundable tax credit, not a deduction.
      More to the point, who reported the $500,000 revenue?

    Clarke’s pool day-dream when the topless Hottie from the department store rises from the water only to have it interrupted makes me feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. Every time I watch I hope for just 1 more second of that scene.
