For Those In The Media Potato Gallery

A review:

November 7th: Global News breaks story – Canadian intelligence warned PM Trudeau that China covertly funded 2019 election candidates

November 15th: Trudeau sets up Xi in an unscheduled private conversation, then leaks ass-covering story to Canadian media – Trudeau expresses concerns to China’s Xi over ‘interference’

November 16th: Xi spanks Trudeau for his duplicity.

That’s what you were watching.

Good point: The leaked “ass-covering story” can never be independently verified since no reporter witnessed or recorded their first conservation. We will never know what the Dear Leader actually said to Xi, and Xi has stated Justin’s version “was not an accurate reflection of their conversation”. The so-called “story” was crafted by Justin’s handlers and “leaked” to the media. Even the CBC is now calling Justin’s version of the first meeting a “readout” of what was discussed…

  1. Well they finally figured out that Canada was sold down the Yangtze river; and without a canoe paddle!

This is what you get when you have a doofus who “admires dictatorship”… 🙂

Non-stop jack-assery from the black face clown prince who pretends to lead.

  2. “Canada’s back.”

I guess this, along with the Bollywood Dress-Up Show, is the international diplomatic finesse that was missing under Harper.

“Trudeau and Xi spoke face to face briefly on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali on Tuesday. After the unofficial meeting, the Prime Minister’s Office issued a readout of the conversation noting the topics that were discussed and who raised them.
According to the readout, during the brief discussion between the two leaders…”

  4. Rather than follow the choreographed antics of the drama queen, more good would come from exposing all those that benefitted and were harmed from Chicom interference. A public list of all the players and their linkages would be a good start. The Spawn and his handlers are trying to play both sides.

      1. Those weasel words from the Ottawa Citizen also mean that it will be reluctant to publish the names, and the criminal records, of the accused in virtually all of the shootings in Ottawa. Those names would reveal the colour and ethnicity of the accused. As you can guess, they would not be of white European extraction.

  5. First of all, everyone could see this coming in 2013.

    So there’s that.

Justin showed his complete inability to even be a second-rate administrator by openly discussing, possibly mischaracterising what was said, and then being cowed by a pudgy dictator.

Attempts to white-wash this defy reason.

    1. being cowed by a pudgy dictator
careful now, you’re hitting too close to home for comfort…give Junior a few more years and he’ll be more than just pudgy, he’s already lost his slim girl figure and he’s only just hit 50. As for the cowed by a dictator bit, Junior already assumed dictatorial powers and cowed all of turdholeland…

  6. If you remember just as Juthtin swishes away from Xi, he says something to a woman who looks like Katie Telford. The look on her face as Gayangry walks away to cry in his room is not a comfortable one, to put it one way.
If not her, some woman took a nasty couple of words from Juthin.

  7. Interesting take on the Trudeau screw up from the moderator of “The Conservative Treehouse”. Trudeau is likely in more trouble than he knows. Quote:
“What makes this video remarkable is the purposeful decision by Chairman Xi to confront Justin from Canada in front of a western audience. Xi never speaks directly in public and is always aware of cameras. The Chinese Chairman almost always goes through spokespeople to relay his public communication, reserving his voice for controlled and disciplined conversation with national leaders. However, not this time.”

    1. Yup. And Xi will never trust Justin enough to say anything more than polite pleasantries to him.

And the rest of the world’s leadership will now also be wary of what they say to Trudeau. No more frank and serious discussions, he can’t be trusted.

      1. It’s time the rest of the planet discovered what some of us here at home have known for years.

    1. If they were CPC we would have known on election night. Of course they were Liberal.
Large Chinese immigrant populations are in Vancouver and Toronto.

  8. Just-is Too-slow claimed that only his four complex complaints were discussed in a ten minute translated conversation.

  9. Gormley was right in there siding with the Trud himself this morning. Gormley went as far as to say Xi had setup the confrontation with Trudeau.(although Gromley didn’t explain how Xi set it up by using CANADIAN POOL CAMERA AND MIC?)
The guy sure know how to get me to change the radio channel quick.

    1. Agree, he’s really getting pompous these days. Earth to Gormley, you’re not as smart or as clever as you make yourself out to be – or wish you were for that matter.

      1. He doesn’t do his homework like he used to. Brags that he doesn’t use Twitter except during the show, which means he’s behind the curve and self-isolated from the broader context on virtually every international story.

I understand the argument that twitter is toxic and negative, but it doesn’t change the fact that refusing to utilize it before commenting on current events is professional negligence. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know, which is maddening to the segment of his audience who does.

        1. Gormley used to rant and complain about Trudo all the time. And had a panoply of issues to discuss about the incompetence of the federal government.
Now, whenever I tune in, he is interviewing somebody who created a new pudding topping or went on a trip to the Great Sand Hills or to see the provinces oldest tree.
No discussion about the freedom convoy.
No discussion about vaccines and their efficacy or adverse effects.
No discussion about the governments waste of money on Wind mills and solar panels.
You would think that a true journalist would be interested in these issues. There aremany important topics that could be discussed.

I heard a rumour that the Corus radio network may be in financial trouble. It is possible that Rawlco Radio is also in some financial distress. Are they now receiving financial aid from the federal government as are all of the Main Stream Media?

If so, then Gormley should at least declare at the beginning of his broadcasts that they are receiving financial assistance and as such, we should all judge his broadcasts accordingly. If they are not receiving financial aid, they should all declare that before every broadcast. It would set a nice precedent that very few media outlets could follow.

I suspect that we will never know.

    1. Never meet your heroes…
Caught Cleese’s ‘show’ in Calgary a couple years ago, he was slovenly dressed, belly hanging out, disinterested and hardly funny. He made some disparaging comments about Trump, that were met with an uneasy silence..

  10. If you juxtapose the PMO spin next to the Chicom spin the only difference will be who they state got the better on the other.
PMO will contend that Leisure Suit Larry got the better of Xi, and the Chicoms will contend Xi put Justine in his place. Both stories have the same goal of fluffing their leaders Street cred for domestic consumption.
The sceptics on this side call bs poker on all this because of the obvious hypocrisy of the situation.
This happened after it’s reported about the 11 ridings the chicoms interfered with during the election, and the lack of effective impact the videoed confrontation actually has on the current state of affairs.
Xi’s control over China and geopolitics didn’t change one iota.
If there was an honest attempt to demonstrate to the Chicoms that we don’t want them screwing with us, that opportunity was presented on a silver platter when Leisure Suit Larry could have had Meng Wangzou extradited to NY to stand trial.
That would have been impossible for the chicoms to spin favourably for domestic consumption.
This staged confrontation was done to impress the liberal base that of late has become less enthusiastic about the spawn.
They have grown tired of him and it’s hard to find a venue where protesters don’t show up with a significant turnout of supporters to demonstrate his popularity for the electorate.
