Lucy, Hold My Football

A Biden get-out-the-vote stunt gets the yank;

A federal judge in Texas on Thursday blocked President Biden’s student-loan “forgiveness” plan in response to a lawsuit from the Job Creators Network Foundation (JCNF).

The conservative advocacy group filed a suit in October arguing that the Biden administration violated federal procedures by not allowing borrowers to provide public comment before the program was unveiled.

Judge Mark Pittman of the Northern District of Texas called the plan an “unconstitutional exercise of Congress’s legislative power” and noted the program failed to go through standard regulatory processes.

“No one can plausibly deny that it is either one of the largest delegations of legislative power to the executive branch, or one of the largest exercises of legislative power without congressional authority in the history of the United States,” Pittman wrote in a 26-page opinion.

Mid-terms are over. They’ll hiss and spit and then let it die.

  1. It got the Dems the Young and the Witless vote anyway; doesn’t matter if they didn’t get the money.

  2. Yup, it served it’s purpose.
    All those youngens dreaming of all the extra pot they could buy, or dining out or the nicer car they’d be able to buy. Hey kids, Democrats don’t care if you get the money, all they wanted was your vote,,, and you fell for it. In fact, if they don’t have to pay you the money, just means they’ll be able to buy some other societal group in the future,,, maybe they’ll sucker you again next election.

    1. Funny how all these young (18-24) college *cough* *cough* educated DNC Voters know nothing about the US Constitution let alone how the 3-branches of government work. I suppose it’s not their fault, since their professors have taught them the US Constitution is a “living” document which can be summarily edited, tweaked, or ignored at will. Or at least whenever Chuck Schumer declares illegalities to be in … the public interest.

    1. They can count C-19 deaths … but my County Registrar of Voters still haven’t counted my adult son’s death after two years. If I were a dishonest Democrat … I could have mailed-in his ballot.
