  1. There was a runner, Jim Ryun, known for his finishing, the Ryun kick. I’m reminded of that end of the race kick watching Flightline. When he went by Life Is Good he put it in another gear. He accelerated to the win, this was not about what the others had left, it was Flightline deciding to kick us the dirt!

  3. Lifeline – One of the greatest of all time.

    A spectacular fade by the #2 horse, Life is Good who led to what the 3/4 pole? By the time the jockey went to the whip the horse had nothing left. Nothing. Didn’t even get in the money.

    Olympiad who came off at 40-1, placed. Nice payday.
