I was disgusted and sickened by the Twitter thread and I’ll listen to the podcast interview tonight. I don’t expect any good news or anything I haven’t known before. As a sidenote and I know it’s just a little thing, but Megyn Kelly had a perfect opportunity to slice and dice the uber creepy Alefantis with an exclusive interview some years ago but she intentionally let him slide… a masterclass of journalistic malfeasance if ever there was one. I see she’s kind of reinvented herself of late as a RW firebrand but I’ll never forgive her for it.

The local radio stations change format every so often but not DJs. I’ve heard the same set of DJs switch from telling stories on air about getting hammered after doing a show at the bar, falling asleep on the couch and then doing their morning show hungover from their phone the next morning (hard rock/metal) – to talking about the wine bars where they met the saxophonist they’re about to play (easy listening) – to talking about bringing the family down to the fall fair this weekend to say hi to the DJs and get free funnel cakes (country).
Media personalities have whatever personality gets. Them. Paid.
Speaks a lot about talk/listen radio.
There is little to no discussion with the ‘hosts’! They know who signs their paystubs.
