“Everyone has a plan till they get punched in the mouth”

Ex-NYC Transit boss Sarah Feinberg assaulted in unprovoked attack near subway stop;

Feinberg, who appealed for more cops assigned to the subways last year amid a crime surge, was sucker-punched at the corner of West 21st Street and 6th Avenue, near the F train at 23rd Street at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 20.

The attacker was walking the wrong way in a bike lane and suddenly turned around and punched Feinberg in the face, a source familiar with the case said.

For those wondering,

Feinberg spent a number of years on Capitol Hill beginning in 1999, including working for the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, as the communications director for the House Democratic Caucus, the press secretary at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and the national press secretary to then-Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle.[4][1][9][7]

From 2009-10, she served in the Obama administration as special assistant to the president, and senior advisor to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.[4][5]

Update: I should steal this. Nevermind, I did. I have the best readers.

  1. I can just about guarantee with a 99% certainty that Mz. Sarah Feinberg is a Democrat voter

    1. More than that. I suppose I should include this.

  2. Hire more subway cops and teach them to defend themselves and shoot people. Have 2 cops and a dog in each station. Let the dog chew on a perpetrator for a while. Shoot the bad guy if the dog gets indigestion. I saw a video of two cops in a station getting beat up by a 16 year old kid and they didn’t even want to wail on him with fists or sticks.

      1. Our good landlady reiterates almost weekly her observation about the use of public transportation being akin to inviting umpteen strangers into ones living room.
I used it daily for decades. Never again.
If the transit authorities cannot ensure the safety of its customers, the systems should be closed down until some authority is found that can.

  3. Yeah, well, she may have appealed for more cops but Feinberg constantly aligns herself with those who want less funding for the police. Her pal Cuomo and DeBlasio just to name two. I have a problem with that. Now, no one is deserving of a sucker punch but ya can’t have it both ways hon. I know you think you can but life ain’t like that.

Never has the maxim “Everyone has a plan till they get punched in the mouth” been more appropriate.
Maybe we’ll see your bandaged face at the next Trump rally.

    1. How dare she not want to dump endless rivers of taxpayer money into law enforcement! Or even just vaguely align herself with people who don’t even really do that! THE NERVE.

  4. “The attacker was described as about 5 feet 8 inches and about 150 pounds, the report.”

arrest every person in new york that is 5’8 and about 150…

or you know just those who are participating in the “knockout game”

  5. Sorry, Ms Feinburg, but you have reaped what you have sowed. I, on the other hand, have never pushed for “defunding the police” or other idiocies, but am now unable to safely go to my nearest transit station because the nearby greenspace is inhabited by vagrants whom I cannot assume am harmless (tried this at a family function and instantly got a “don’t even think that way” by a son-in-law), and even the platform – from what I have observed – has open drug dealings. And this is Canada, and I really don’t like it.
