  2. Vancouver really needs to take the next step in Progressive elections, “Ranked Choice Voting.”

    It works really well in local elections when you rank up to 5 different candidates for the same position, especially when you know little to nothing about most, if not all of the candidates. As an added feature, it often takes DAYS to determine the actual winner.

  8. Wishful thinking here, but a massive slate of candidates would be a great tactic to sneak a few conservative-minded people into a leftard stronghold.

    Personally, I think party affiliations in civic elections should be completely banned, divisive party politics have absolutely no place in civic matters.

    Same goes for any socio-cult devotees and their twisted agendas.

    Sadly though, for far too many Vancouverites, party identity and woke-cultism go hand-in-hand.

    1. Actually, GREENTARDISM is endemic in Wangcouver.
      They are so proud of being the “Greeniest”. But it also continues to make life more unaffordable everyday.
      This is the city of paying for a permit to park your vehicle on the street, in front of your house.
      This is the city that has banned NG from new construction as of 2030, and banned outright by 2050 in all buildings.

      The land of fruits and nuts. There are no conservatives on that list, they would never get elected in Wangcouver. Faster. Harder!

      These are the same people against Site C dam too. What do they think will power their $100k Teslas and warm their condos? Oh yeah, power comes from the wall socket.

        I’ve family there…totally into that progressive scene of colossal insanity.
        I’ve told them to consider moving to the interior..as the BIG ONE is well overdue…(I pray for it daily..lol).

  9. Do they have the candidates pictures on the ballot? Their race? Their sex? Their preferred pronouns? How is anyone expected to know who to vote for unless they know the most important qualifications for office?

  13. Alphabetical order is racist. Putting on the ballot Chicom hieroglyphics, that only Chicoms can read is inclusive.

  14. I check the candidates out in LinkedIn. The first ones I toss are those who list their “pronouns”. If I can find their campaign websites, I review what it says. Leftists and vague comments get tossed next.

  15. I did like the fact that they disclose those candidates that live outside the area they are supposedly representing.

    If you’ve no skin in the game you are nothing but a fake, a leech.
