        1. Sagan wholeheartedly believed in global warming. So does the JREF (and, boy, do they melt down when you apply their own skeptical methods to the claims).

          People like Sagan and Phil Plait (and Tyson and Nye et al) are science writers and popularizers. They’re not scientists in any sense of the term. James Randi often said that scientists were more easily gulled than most because they were trained to ferret out accidental error but had no ability to detect deliberate deception. For that, you needed a professional charlatan.

  4. Now that both the Russia-Trump conspiracy and Whitmer kidnapping hoaxes have been outed as FBI approved operations, I may have to revisit my hardcore skepticism of some of the 9-11inside job conspiracy theories I used to laugh at….

    … except the controlled demolition one… you have to be desperately ignorant and unintelligent to still be pushing that utterly silly theory.

    1. If he does exist, he is a cover up man.

    Michael Flynn was prosecuted for lying to the FBI. Danchenko? He got a job offer.
