  1. The Great Barrier Reef exhibits greatest coral coverage in 36 years, which is how long scientists have been surveying it.

So the Great Barrier Reef is the healthiest we’ve ever seen it, but Climate Alarmists aren’t backing down. The physical evidence (that’s called objective reality) demonstrates that this reef is healthier than we’ve ever seen it. But there’s still cause for ALARM; because that’s what Climate Alarmists get paid for – causing ALARM.

  2. Anyone else mildly amused by the fact that ‘Everything I do’ can be considered a bit of an obsessive stalker anthem and Breath you take IS a stalker song?

Do people even listen to lyrics? 😛

  3. How did “Stairway to HEaven” make it to number 20? It was never released as a single, yet it is the most requested song at radio stations for decades.

        1. Strategic reserves. The troops that are normally used to bring up the rear and establish security. I’m guessing Ukraine had Intel that there was no risk committing these troops.

          1. So we’re talking about different units. You’re talking about national guard or territorial defense units. Ukraine has multiple brigades of first rate troops that haven’t been committed on either offensive, this is the strategic reserve. Multiple of those units haven’t been seen since battle for Kiev. Among them is the amazing 1st Independent Armoured Brigade. This is the unit that put the amazing resistance against forces six times the unit’s own size around Chernihiv.

Films will be made about that battle. The brigade suffered heavy loses, was rebuild, few sub units were seen briefly a month or two ago, and then there were no updates on the brigade’s location.
My best bet: the next time we will see that unit spearheading Ukrainian effort this will be an indication that things went from tactical to strategic. This hasn’t happened yet.

    1. When your demilitarization campaign turns you into at least one of the biggest arms donors to the country targetted for demil.

  4. Tip: Its September 11 so Moslems somewhere will have to do “something” to celebrate.

On Thursday I was discussing that day with workmates. They both remarked that they were in school…
I countered: work ended abruptly and surprisingly due to some problem I can’t recall, but it was odd and the day had barely started. We then heard the news on the radio of the crew cab truck on the way back to the shop. One kid in the back – half Persian, half K-becer – had a strange sort of smile on his face which brought about a severe threat from the driver, Pat.

Despite the sad anniversary, have a nice Sunday.

  5. I am posting this link for two reasons… first, I found it amusing that CityNews’ Xiaoli Li couldn’t even bring himself to post 50 seconds of live coverage of PP’s win, but mainly, it is for the overwhelmingly one-sided tone of the comments…

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHqicm0eSKs

“If he is considered “extreme” then our country needs an “extreme” change.”
“What a great acceptance speech delivered by future Prime Minister Pierre Poilievre! This guy is sharp as a tack!”
“330 of 338 ridings for Poilievre. Absolute legend.”
“Your news channel gaslighted Canadians the entire time this campaign was on saying it was close, neck in neck in fact.”
“So Proud to be Canadian Again! God bless this Man.”
“This is so bloody hopeful. Great work. I’m a life long liberal turned conservative.”
“I swear the other candidates are so out of touch it’s hilarious that anyone would expect any different result.”
“Happy for him. I really hope PP isn’t a trojan horse and delivers for Canadians.”

    1. Try making a comment supportive of PP on the Ottawa Citizen site.
Either the comment gets ‘deactivated’ or they leave it up but shadow ban it.
You can see your comment but nobody else can. When you log out the comments disappear.
Any comment about PP cutting media handouts is instantly wiped.

  6. I don’t have the link handy but we really need to talk about the Alberta UPC leadership race which is frankly far more important than the CPC. Last I heard Jean was favored and that’s bad. Smith is the only serious choice.
