I’ve eatened chapulines(grasshoppers) in Mexico. Particularly popular in Oaxaca. Come in various sizes and flavours-chille, lime, etc. They are roasted and flavoured. Tasty but not what I would want to snack on regularly.
They’re okay when crispy with peanuts and lime wedges on the side. Kinda unpalatable when soggy.
You WILL eat bugs and you will be happy!
I cannot imagine the epic cramps and bowel movements one would have if they had to regularly attempt to digest significant amounts of chitin.
I worked with a guy a decade ago, who raised his crickets at home in plastic storage containers, and would dry them out and put them in his smoothies each day, saying this was how he ate his high doses of protein necessary while he was on his weights lifting regime. He wasn’t a small guy at all. Apparently the picture of health prior to this.
This went on for at least 3 years, and continued even while he would eat his lunch at site while semi laying down as he’d say it helped relax his throat so he could successfully swallow.
We told him he should have a medical Dr. have a look at what’s going on in there, he eventually did, then phoned the site supervisor to tell him he had less than 3 months to live, that his throat was not going to recover. I thought he had a form of cancer in there which had become inoperable. And he did die exactly when the Dr. had said he would, 3 months prior.
Not saying crickets did this, but I’m comfortable watching the others experiment on this, while I say “no thanks I’ve already eaten”.
Also, Dr. Naomi Wolf said this am on Charlie Kirk’s show, she thinks now that Pfizer’s own experiments show that seminal fluid from vaxed men does pass a variety of things into the recipient.
I’m good with that, but “good luck” to the next generation…
My unvaxed semen may now be trading at above $4000 per load. Inflation is real.

Yeah, I quickly debunked the “Asians wore masks pre-COVID” by posting pics and shots of baseball games, subways, etc. Sometimes a few masks on the subways, but rare, and most importantly NOT MANDATED.
And, of course, the “doctors wear masks” crap also falls apart the same way, easy to show. Even surgeons (who do wear masks…to protect the patients from bacteria and germs and protect THEM from the patient “splatters”…rip them off as soon as the patient is wheeled out.
Oh, and according to the latest data, Japan (you know, the island)…has a ‘ro death rate almost twice Canada’s. Australia’s and New Zealand’s is almost three times.

So check the ingredients on EVERYTHING you buy from here on out. They’re going to start with cricket powder, except that they won’t call it that. They’ll use some euphemism like “grillon,” (French for “cricket”)
The key word is ” sustainability “.
Look for it on the packaging, check the the ingredient list also.

Increases in Asian meat imports suggest that when Asians can afford real meat, that’s what they want to eat.
