The despicable George Soros has written an op-ed full of big lies that was recently published in the Wall Street Journal:
We need to acknowledge that black people in the U.S. are five times as likely to be sent to jail as white people. That is an injustice that undermines our democracy.
In recent years, reform-minded prosecutors and other law-enforcement officials around the country have been coalescing around an agenda that promises to be more effective and just. This agenda includes prioritizing the resources of the criminal-justice system to protect people against violent crime. It urges that we treat drug addiction as a disease, not a crime. And it seeks to end the criminalization of poverty and mental illness.
Serious scholars researching causes behind the recent increase in crime have pointed to other factors: a disturbing rise in mental illness among young people due to the isolation imposed by Covid lockdowns, a pullback in policing in the wake of public criminal-justice reform protests, and increases in gun trafficking. Many of the same people who call for more-punitive criminal-justice policies also support looser gun laws.
As SF Bay resident, and SDA regular, Kenji, knows first hand, Soros’s “policies”, put into effect by the Progressive DAs he got elected, have been nothing short of a disaster.
Further to this, on http://www.msn.ca, there was a report of a mass shooting (3 men and 3 women) at an Ajax Strip Mall in the early morning hours of Sunday. Forgive me God, but my first thought was blacks celebrating Caribana.
Sure enough, the shooting occurred at a Bar-B-Que behind a Caribbean food store.
I lived in Toronto for 25 years. Caribana is celebrated every August long weekend, a parade, dancing in the street and sadly, lots of fights and deaths, although usually the deaths are caused by knifings. Perhaps the participants have moved up to guns.
Blacks are sent to jail more than whites because they commit more crimes than whites.
Even the FBI s statistics clearly show that.

Incorrect. Even when all other factors are fixed, black people are still arrested/incarcerated more frequently.

The funny thing about black incarceration (five times more likely) is that 90% of the crimes committed by blacks are against other black people. So the government, in its wisdom, releases these criminals back into their black neighborhoods where they do it again. The result is an increasing cycle of violence. The “funny” thing about it is you can’t even say this in public anymore or you’re racist. So the problem keeps getting worse. If you hated black people you couldn’t hope for a better outcome. It keeps them in their place and miserable at the same time. You don’t have to raise a racist finger.
If you wanted to be a supreme racist (like me) you would point out the cultural difference between Jews (say) and Blacks. Jews celebrate the family and work together to build a better life for their community – at least to a greater extent than do other “races”. Blacks prey on each other to build a better life for themselves. You can’t change that behavior by letting people out of jail. It is not a “feature” of poverty. It is a cultural behavior that gets reinforced when a group is overwhelmingly one culture – like black neighborhoods.
I know Jewish is not a race, but it is convenient for classifying cultural behavior. Clan would be a more accurate word than race. I use Jews as a comparison because they are condemned for being more successful due to their better behavior while Blacks are forgiven for being less successful as a result of their poor behavior.
I would also bet dollars to donuts that there is no such thing as a black neighborhood. If you go to one you will find the Somalis in one area, the Sudanese in another, the Nigerians in yet another and so on. These are clans with a distinct hierarchy and their behavior is attributed as a reaction to racism by white people.
George Soros has this beautifully thought out. By advocating for the release of black criminals he proves he is not racist. But by allowing black criminals back into their neighborhoods he can relax with a glass of Brandy knowing the misery he has caused.
Paraphrasing the late Walter Williams, “the black family survived 150 years of slavery, Jim Crow, and segregation but it couldn’t survive LBJ’s Great Society”. Today, 70% of black kids are raised by single parents.
Heh, all these rich scammers think that everyone should pay attention, as though they know everything else.
The only thing the guy is famous for is legally scamming British treasury of billions. He admitted that in 60 minutes interview to Ed Bradley, probably the best of the lot. He, in fact said that it should be illegal though it is not.

Be careful about the false packaging. Some of Chesa’s policies (like leaving prostitutes alone) were good, others were terrible. He was also oddly ineffectual in pursuing police misconduct apparently. But there are good ideas here, like ending enforcement of anti-drug laws. It’s too bad Chesa and the like couldn’t just stick to the good ideas.
It should be noted that many reddish rural areas in America have seen an increase in crime as well.
Yeah … leave the prostitutes alone who are standing on the corner outside your business. There is a GOOD reason for Law and Order … because the alternative leads to human excrement on the sidewalks, needles, filth, and businesses FLEEING shitholes like the SF Bay Area urban hellscape.
