Re: the continued attacks on JK Rowling… It never ceases to amaze me how these ‘poor, downtrodden, marginalized’ groups like gays, minorities and trannies act when they realize that they have the power of the state and the woke mob on their side.

Anyone with critical thinking skills expected environmental issues. Just as now there are no viable commercial scale recycling processes for EV batteries. Doubtful that there ever will be. Too dangerous and too expensive. Depleted Li batteries are pyrophoric on exposure to atmospheric oxygen or water vapour. Any recycling work would have to be done under vacuum or an inert atmosphere. The net benefits would be negative. Pretty much like any recycling program just magnitudes costlier. They haven’t thought that through or admitted to that yet.
Solar panels NEVER expire !! Is what all the kewl kids believe. If you didn’t live through the 1970’s (solar’s FIRST failure) … you wouldn’t know that solar panels degrade with each day they “power up your Tesla”. Be sure to factor-in TOTAL replacement in 10 years for any of your payback calculations.
