    And in Oakland … the homeless BURN each other out every week or so. Even forcing MAJOR freeways to shut down.

    The Oakland Fire Department has responded to more than 90 fires of varying sizes at the encampment. In March, a person died after they were trapped in a van when a fire broke out.

      1. Coming soon; California to require all tents and sleeping bags, blankets, etc. to be made of fire retardant material.

        In addition, sprinklers and smoke detectors must be available for all tents/shelters.
