  2. They are desperate because they cannot afford to not be at war with Russia, and Ukraine is running out of cannon fodder.

    There is nothing they won’t do.

    1. I haven’t read of a SINGLE Ukraine military casualty. Not one. Other than civilians dying from Putin’s bombs. What cannon fodder? The entire Western media says it doesn’t exist. The war is going very badly for Russia, and Putin is dying of cancer … and their MacDonalds (replacement) hamburger buns are moldy.

  3. In case you’re wondering about the actual purpose of this PSA…it’s obvious if you think about it.

    There has been a dwindling interest in Biden’s little diversion/inflation excuse over in Ukraine. There has been outright contempt for his gifting of over $63 Billion in taxpayer funds to corrupt little Ukraine and their grifters. This PSA is to tie into Putin’s latest comments that he could destroy the entire US East Coast if he wanted to. The current administration needs to establish an atmosphere of FEAR in order to continue with their narrative and payoffs. And, it will work on a significant number of people who jump at their own shadows and envelop what they are told to envelop (aka Mask wearing morons).

    1. War with China? Not with the current administration. Biden is in so deep with the Chinese, they can do anything they want without Biden’s intervention (and they know it). The only reason they haven’t moved on Taiwan isn’t because of the US. It’s because of Taiwan. They have two decent submarines with missile capability (and two junk submarine guppies). They fly a nice collection of F-16s…and have recently increased their missile production two fold.

      Were China to try and invade Taiwan, they’d have to go about 100 miles across open water while Taiwan plastered the hell out of their transports in the process. I don’t think China is looking to take a black eye. They already have enough problems. Their current efforts to acquire Taiwan are being done internally (just like in the US).

    Having said that, seeing NYC and DC vapourized (and Ottawa/Harrington Cottage), isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Including Kalifornika in that mix would be the icing on the cake.

  8. It’s 1956 all over again! I suppose with covid dissipating,and our reluctance to get another shot and another one every nine months for the foreseeable future, they had to invent something,and the brave nerds of the establishment could only remake an old movie,just like Hollywood loves to do.
    As this ad was centered on New York City, ground zero for every monster movie ever made,with the exception of Tokyo, the obvious FIRST target of any nuclear attack is NYC. Anywhere else would be unthinkable and might not even be noticed.
    Perhaps they should change the ad slightly to reflect the real probability that NYC would be hit with about 50 megatons at once,so the advice should be, close your eyes and kiss your ass goodbye,just like the old hippie poster of the 1960’s advised.

  10. First of all, the point of getting under your desk isn’t to protect you from the radioactive blast. If you’re anywhere near ground zero it’s obviously not going to help. It’s for those people in the outer zone where the compressed air wave is going to batter the building you’re in. Being under the desk gives at least some protection from falling material from the ceiling, and will get you below the level of the windows. Is it perfect? No, but I hate to break it to you: most of the “how to be safe in a tornado” advice you follow is bull**** too.

    What I find amusing is the presumption that any kind of comm channels, especially Internet ones, will still be working in the aftermath of a nuclear attack. Where’s RADR: will shortwave radio work in the ionized atmosphere post-detonation?

    1. Re: comm channels. I’ve got three letters for you: EMP. Detonate the nuke a few km above the ground and you fry every unshielded electrical circuit for, I dunno, many many kilometers within the blast radius. That effectively turns the resulting area into Mad Max.

      Don’t even need a nuke. If a bad solar storm hits the Earth the wrong way, kiss goodbye to loads of comms satellites in orbit and a good portion of whatever’s facing the sun at the moment too.

    2. A convenient side-effect of “hiding-under-your-school-desk” drills was instilling fear in children, and indoctrinating them to believe in nuclear weapons.

      It’s difficult to find, but there are still nuclear weapon safety propaganda videos floating out there. As much as people (today) remember about the hiding under your school desk stupidity, they may not remember other helpful tips, such as stopping your car on the highway as fast as possible, lying in a ditch, and covering as much of your body as you could in newspaper if you detected a flash on the horizon while driving.

      Fear is key.

      Trust in those who run the government coupled with a lack of critical thinking skills is a close second.

    The once great western world is fat, lethargic, lazy and distracted by the insane Covid scare … not to mention social networking and the ubiquitous free porn.

    It’s coming to an end .. freedom and prosperity that is. We are also losing our health (and our health care) by taking the fake vaccines. That doesn’t help much.

  13. May seem a little counter-intuitive, but I’m going to remind you what I said earlier… Whatever the government tells you to do, do the exact opposite.

  14. If it’s “the big one”, as she says (as opposed to a “dirty bomb”), there will be no point in “Stay Tuned”. All forms of communications — television, radio, phones, text, web, etc. — will be down. If they blast wave doesn’t take them out, the EMP will.

    1. Not true. If blast effects happen, there is no EMP. If there is an EMP, then there are very little to no blast effects.

    and when the mid terms come in November, Democrats will say no one is allowed to leave their home, and everyone needs to vote by mail

    That way Democrats will be able to cheat…as usual.

    I could be wrong about why they are doing it, but Democrats are more devious than Satan himself, so that ad has to be part of some dark dark Democrat sick plan.
