#4: Get full rapid approvals followed by pipe in the ground construction for TransX, Northern Gateway and LNG Pipelines to de-bottle neck Alberta and Saskatchewan’s oil & gas industry. High energy prices and tight supply is ultimately the #1 cause of inflation Worldwide. Fix it!
That won’t affect inflation, certainly not in the short term. But the approvals can be done rapidly with one piece of legislation that grants explicit approvals for legally specified projects and further setting aside any other federal government legislation that would otherwise intervene. The real problem here is the Canadian federal Environmental Assessment Act.
This can be done rapidly. The real problem is the refusal of private industry to invest. They are not going to sink billions of their capital into investments that can be wiped out by some successor administration. Unless you deal with the opposition parties, expect a repetition of the rail blockades of the winter of 2020. Here again is an obstacle not easily overcome. It won’t happen unless any such physical obstacles are immediately shut down of something like the Emergencies Act or some Act of Parliament to have the same effect.
Its unlikely that any of this will happen without a Trudeau bought and paid for MSM howling for the Government’s head on a pike.
Well, no, tight oil supply is #2; government printing money like they were running out of ink is cause #1.
Again none of this is an accident or policy “errors” or Putin. It is the ruling class/radical left/WEF etc, that are enacting their agenda to reduce population, destroy wealth and liberty and put us all into indentured servitude.
And they did not come up with the plan yesterday – this has been wargamed for decades. They have been forced to ram through their agenda come hell or highwater.
So there will be no correction on policy. There may not even be anymore elections.
WARD.
EXACTLY.
And does the Turd even think/care about the effect his (WEF’s) Policies are having…?
YES and he’s deliriously content.
I’d see that Useless Arrogant POS end up like Nicolae Ceausescu.
Steakman, kudos for that phrase describing Justine the Petulant:
deliriously content.
That is pinpoint right.
I award you the Ward Award for your wardship of reason, Ward.
Sounds EXACTLY like Bidinhflation … you’d almost think Justhin and Bidinh were copying each other’s homework?
Kinda like they’re joined at the hip, huh?
First. Inflation is way higher than they are reporting.
Second. Not bad, my only critique is never show anyone in a mask on these spots.
But he’s not trying to convince SDA readers.
You can nominate a pile of poop, anything, just get the current jack-ass removed.
he clearly hasn’t spent a minute to consider how his policies are directly harming families across the country
Why should he? We don’t matter to him, never did, never will. He grew up pampered, spoiled, and privileged and that was all he ever saw. He believes that the rest of us are, or should, be like that, as well.
Then again, he never did anything useful in his entire life.
And yet despite it all, the Canadian electorate made him prime minister. That’s what sickens me the most.
That’s what boomers have the hardest time accepting.
Yup. Eliminate all those durned boomers and life will be nothing but sunshine and rainbows, won’t it?
This is one boomer who never voted for a Trudeau and never will. I remember when PET became Liberal party leader on the blackest day in Canadian history, April 6, 1968. I knew then that we were in for a lot of pain and misery and PET certainly bestowed that upon us.
I’m one boomer who endured the consequences of PET’s NEP. I’m one boomer who rejoiced when the SOB took his walk in the snow. I’m one boomer who knew his alleged son was going to be at least as bad as PET and voted against him.
Sorry, but blaming the boomers who knew better isn’t going to solve the mess we’re in.
It sure as hell wasn t the boomers that elected that sh!tstorm three times it was the 20-40 crowd and all the morons who voted for a hair cut and a counterfeit feminist. Then take a look at the Ontario vote, more people voted Conservative than Liberal but the riding rich GTA as usual went solidly Liberal. As usual looking for all the free stuff and immigration documents for uncle Habib and his apprentice terrorist sons.
@EFFEMM
Wrong. It was nostalgic liberal boomers. The younger cohorts are more friendly to the CPC.
“an EKOS poll last week showed a plurality of Canadians under 50 currently favour the Conservatives, while those 50 and older, especially those 65 and older, stubbornly prefer the Liberals. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the senior citizen preference for the Liberals is the strongest in the Laurentian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Less than one in five Canadians aged 18-34 in the poll would vote Liberal in the next election. ”

All true, but ….
https://youtu.be/Zj6rMcVNQbw
… and give Canadians back their guns and single use plastics..
… and lightbulbs, and cars, and smoking, and property, and the list goes on….
I’d donate to the guy, but I don’t want to end up in prison for doing so.
Oh, damn the torpedoes, Man! Shell it out!
I mean, he talked about FREEDOM!
So, I bet you that tomorrow morning he’s gonna hold a press conference to express his grave concerns about the Tamara Lich arrest(s).
Right?
He’s a cuck poindexter.
Diesel hasn’t stopped going up, therefore prices haven’t stopped going up.
Too bad there isn’t an election any time soon.
I wonder how the NDP rank-and-file are doing.
Filled my duramax GMC today 222.9 per liter took two hundreds and a twenty to lawfully leave the truck stop.
Pierre has his own YouTube channel with over 230,000 subscribers.

Still a cuck.
What’s the jump in toilet paper prices?
I think this guy is going to be the next PM. Question is, will there be anything left of the country by then.
Very clever add. If he wins the leadership contest , I hope he takes the gloves off and proposes reinvigorating the Oil and Gas industry which will drive the climate crazies and Liberals nuts , and have all the MSM calling him the raper of the earth.
But .. he can’t touch the energy industry issue yet until he becomes leader.
Tamara Lich has been jailed to prevent her from attending Canada Day events. https://www.rebelnews.com/breaking_tamara_lich_was_just_arrested_in_medicine_hat_alberta
Let’s get one thing clear, the vast majority of Canadians realize that no freedoms have been eroded or taken away by our government. I fully supported the Emergency Measures Act being invoked, as there was no other means of bringing an end to the illegal occupation of Ottawa by a group of moronic idiots protesting an imagined slight. I fully supported making mandate, vaccine policies and passports and continue to do so.
Hopefully all of these “protesters” are dealt with to the fullest extent of the law, and Ms. Lich cools her heels in jail until her trial. Perhaps then she’ll gain some respect for the law of this country and a judges orders.
When in Alberta, the UCP is anything but united, and federally, the conservatives are fractured in far right and centrist camps, is their any wonder why Canadians continue to elect a party with vision and sense. Inflation is not only a Canadian or USA problem, but a global problem.
Tom
Been fitted for you Gauleiter Uniform yet…?
To think I served this country for Fascist (_i_)HOLES like you…
Do us all a favor and get yer 4th, 5th & 6th Booster…IOW, FOAD Goof….
Enjoy your servitude to your communist masters. You’re obviously a member of the (Pierre) Trudeau Cult.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
-Samuel Adams
And Tom from the CBC or possibly CNN chimes in. The right to peaceful protest is still there in our useless charter of rights and freedoms as is the the freedom to travel both of which were taken away. Hopefully Tom is on his second booster and lining up for his third. What a maroon, the only problem is, besides being a troll, he probably believes this crap.
Don’t disgrace the name – Tom
UnMe changed xim/xer/xit’s name again.
You sound just like a GDR tankie who misses the enlightened rule of Erich Honecker.
Could have been words of Progressive Pat, but somehow I don’t think Tommy is satire.
Comfy life in the hands of the guvament.
You can have it Tommy.
I don’t want it.
Look! You’re being sarcastic again!
Further, most truckers were working not protesting. Only idiots without jobs and a big truck had the time to protest. I’m happy the money was frozen by the government.
Too obvious, Tom.
You’re trying to use a red devil to catch trout.
Lemme tell you this, Adolf. First, like Steakman I didn’t serve this country so fascist f*cks like you could crap on true Canadians. And second, if you or someone like you were to have a heart attack in front of me, I’d grab a chair and a bowl of popcorn and watch you die. That’s how much I hate your vile species.
The comment above illustrates the typical low intellect of right wingers. Are you able to dressing feed yourself yet or still need help with that to? Lol. Moronic idiots are backbone of the conservative movement.
How many involved in the Houston BC gas compressor terrorist attack have been arrested? None.
That is the group you represent and belong to.
Not one member of the Freedom Convoy committed an act of violence. Not one; despite the blatant lies made by your propaganda division claiming otherwise. Yet it is the ones who actually threaten people’s lives that you cheer on because of the bull shit climate propaganda.
That spot on form Tom. Rely on insults to make your points. Points I wish you would make elsewhere. I am not a moron. I have been on this site for many years. I like most of the folks here except for the ones like you who are trolls. Go back to Facebook and leave us alone.
That’s it. I go now to earn some money. Why don’t you try and do the same thing. If you are able, I apologize to others on this site but I am sick and damn tired of people like Tom. I have to go now. Guess what Tom? I install solar back up sydtems and cottages. Don’t bother calling.
Sorry Tommy, you low intelligence f*ck. My IQ is at least 2SD higher than yours. Anyone who supports what Trudeau has done is the sort your favorite fascists used to call untermenschen.
Whenever a progressive uses the low intellect argument, I have to ask myself ‘And Trudeau is the smartest lib you could come up with?’
What about Biden? Anyone in the Libby cabinet? Better come up with another line of argument.
Oh, the things you say, Tom!
Then Tom you obviously did not meet any of the truckers. The ones I met were working. During the three weeks they often left to continue doing their jobs. They came from all over. One I met was from New York State. He had to leave early to go pick a load in Jersey. No doubt it was for tissues and anti depressants for all you pearl grabbers that could not envision a Canada that includes dissent.
If you believe all you say then you are rather sad. I realize that you represent a majority of Canadians that would rather live in this false utopia, rely of cosmic math to keep the economy going, idolize a PM who is a fool, and continue to collect the money that hard
working Canadians like me pour into the treasury. If you don’t like that Tom then maybe take your comments elsewhere.
Jailing a mom for having an opinion is not the country I want to live in. If it suits you then move somewhere else. Because we have had it with you lot.
Perhaps you should move, as you said, I hold the opinion of the majority of Canadians.
Bye, bye and don’t let the proverbial door hit you on the way out.
You and your ilk shut the door. I did not take the dream vax. You know the one that kills more of you than me. Enjoy your short life Tom.
Doesn’t surprise me you’re of the unvaccinated ilk. I suspect you wear tinfoil hats to ward off vape trail effects too? Lol
Hey Tom how many times have you caught Covid after being vaxxed?
Tom is right about one thing.
The majority of Canadians are the problem.
Majority of Canadians are brainwashed like Tom.
Free thinkers are discouraged by academia.
Proving once again Canadians are demonstrably dumber than stone age tribes in the Amazon.
I like Pierre but I’ve learned that the CPC is not to be trusted. Anyway, unless and until Poilievre is the actual leader, I am not putting any faith in them.
Why yes Pierre, government gatekeepers are indeed pushing up the cost of food, specifically supply management. Yes, the supply management that you have specifically explicitly stated that you will maintain. The trucker vaccine mandate is neither here nor there, it’s just a way for Pierre to distract the dumb dumbs of conservative-world from the fact that he’s all huff and minimum puff.
Vote Scott Aitchison as your no. 1.
Thankfully unme, you’re here to tell us that the piss running down our back is actually rain.
It stinks like piss.
But it’s rain. Because unme says so.
Answer this question and win a prize, when has a lifelong politician ever fixed what ails?
Let’s review, Little Guy from Shawinagin, ran as a rebel, despite being decades in Ottawa, and was going to “scrap da GST”, abruptly canceled the idea the moment after election and claimed he never said that.
John Turner, elected in 1962 gets in after Trudeau (1984) and stating he would change things, immediately fills the senate with Liberals, and continues every single one of Pierre’s lunatic policies.
The same goes for everyone in the modern era. You want change, don’t buy used.
Additionally: lose the plaid Pierre. Stop pandering to the blue collar know-nothings.
Keep smoking that copium, boy.
Wut?
Because the plaid was the most important thing in a political ad about 10% food inflation.
Did you notice the thing with the 10% food inflation? I sure noticed it at the store the other day, and the gas pumps as well. Meanwhile unbrain is talking about plaid.
100% on track for you, unbrain. Exactly what we expect.
If you would be so kind as to uncork your head, you’d notice I initially talked about the emptiness of his substance up above. Then secondarily I rightly pointed out the stylistic pandering to low folk. It’s not the main thing but it matters.
I saw your earlier comment. Of the two, your idiotic focus on plaid was the more cogent. Please try harder, we expect more of our trolls here.
But he has considered how his policies are reducing the standard of living of Canadians. He wants their liberty and wealth reduced, for the planet’s sake, for the [planet’s sake. He is one of Plato’s philosopher kings, doncha know, who has all the luxuries and pleasures because he can appreciate them, while the great unwashed need to be instructed as to what is good. AKA, obedience, adoration and taxation.
“…he clearly hasn’t spent a minute to consider…”
Sorry Robert, you need to stop depicting this government as clueless. You better believe they considered inflation. That was the point!
Inflation is how you tax a nation without taxing them. You borrow money, then DEBASE the currency and pay back the loan with debased money of lower value. That’s what inflation is. That’s what it does.
They know -exactly- what’s going on. It does the rest of us no favors to keep pretending they’re stupid. This is not an accident caused by idiots, it is a theft perpetrated by evil men. They’re literally stealing the food out of your mouth.
All governments debase the currency at some point, to pay their debts. That’s why it shouldn’t be controlled by governments.
Good words from a smart politician but he has always been on the political career track. His plaid jacket is simply a clever device; he’s never worn one I expect. But he says the right things; will he deliver, or be allowed to deliver?
“His plaid jacket is simply a clever device”
Indeed. And the rest of what you said too.
Pierre is the best bet of the available options but I do have a problem with a professional politician offering solutions. Pierre and many others have never had a job outside politics and as a result solutions offered are political solutions based on their experience in the government industry. Requiring a policy of a dollar in, a dollar out is a good start but a better one would be to find the sweet spot where government spending is most efficient without burdening the productive economy and capping spending on that. The most productive years were those that had government spending between thirty and forty percent so give us a hard cap of forty for all levels of government services. A business has to meet budgets, why not force the governments to do so. Watching a gov. department cutting staff and costs to meet a hard cap would amuse me greatly. Of course being honest and declaring a cap would ensure the party would never get elected as long as the other party offered more free stuff. Ahh well, I have a dream.
Inflation is in excess of 20%. The least someone can do is get the damn numbers correct.
