Not true. The Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc band NEVER said it was a mass grave, it was the media and activists who said that. The band spokespersons repeatedly spoke out saying there was NO mass grave. They only said they found what could be unmarked graves, and that it hadn’t been confirmed.
