Your Moral And Intellectual Superiors

Where do they find these people?

One year ago @elizashapiro, a NYT education reporter, wrote this breathless 1,400-word story about a “sweeping” and “dramatic” lawsuit from lefty race activists that would rewrite admissions to NYC schools. A Democratic judge tossed it out today in a two-sentence ruling.

This is where they find these people.

…the education reporter, Eliza Shapiro, failed the selective public high school examination, went to a $50k/yr private high school instead, then attended Columbia where her dad is a professor and got a job at the NYT where her mom is a senior editor.

  1. Really starting to show how our education system totally screwed the pooch by creating idiots who haven’t a clue what to actually do and are totally reliant on advisors and mainstream media.

Do you remember Jack Layton NDP?
When that IPCC report came out on climate, he was totally convinced as they’re our experts and never should be questioned.
Many things in that report actually had me more curious as to where, how and why they came to the conclusions on what data that they were following.
I was questioning myself of did I miss something?
As I was on a completely different track that didn’t find what they were stating was going to happen.

So, decades now of politicians forcing they’re perspectives and trying to force a different piss poor technology of wind turbines and solar panels.
Now twenty plus years later, we’re really finding how bad this technology imposed is.
The manufacturer’s profit were through the roof with government subsidies.

    1. Ah yes, Jack Layton the Peoples man who frequented underage illegal Asian girls for “shiatsus” at downtown rub and tug emporia. Really knowledgeable guy.

      1. Mark Steyn told the best joke in Canadian political history about Jack Layton:

This cop walks into this whorehouse and sees Jack Layton, sitting naked on a bed.
The cop says, “Okay, you, what’s your name?”
And Jack Layton says, “I’m Jack Layton.”
And the cop says, “Look, I can see what you’re doing. I asked you, what’s your name?”

  2. If she really thought she was discriminated against, all Eliza had to do was emigrate to Israel, where there is no discrimination against Jews.

She would find out several things:

    1. Being sired by a college professor doesn’t get you out of putting on an IDF uniform and serving your country rather than trying to bring it down.

    2. Her Israeli cousins support Donald Trump.

  3. Nepotism? Imagine my utter lack of surprise.

It’s the best way to ensure the best people get the best jobs.

  4. TBF … this Democrat Judge can safely bat the ball into the Legislator’s (voters) court in New York City … after all, they elected a Communist incompetent Mayor, and a token liar-idiot to replace him. Oh! And don’t forget AOC. And the whole State isn’t much better. This Judge made a “safe” ruling.

  5. Poor thing just had the misfortune to be born under the wrong flag. She’d be PM in Canada.
