Yes. This is more accurately referred to as the Interdict – she is to receive no sacraments. If you believe in this sort of thing, if she dies while under Interdict she goes to hell as she can’t make any final confession or communion.
The modern Roman Catholic church, practically, excommunicates no one as it’s permanent and cannot be rescinded (I think the Pope can rescind it, but I’m not up on my canon law). There are only seven official grounds for excommunication and for five of them you have to be an ordained priest first.

I’m not a catholic and don’t want to be one but the question I must ask is “What took so long”? Seriously the Catholic church is completely negligent on such matters. IF they say that abortion is wrong then perform a state funeral for a politician (PET) who allowed abortion in Canada it is not PET that looks bad. Offering communion to Pelosi and Biden isn’t good for the catholic church.

A little Catholic pummelling going on I see which is nothing new but if there are letters of condemnation from the squishy 35,000 Protestant denominations concerning anti-life politicians within the faith I’d like to see it.
