    The critical minerals to be mined here are votes and corporate donations.

    1. The mission of the BC museum is to ERASE history, nothing the european and asian settlers achieved must be recorded. Instead we are to celebrate disparate groups who barely survived their constant warring, starvation and weather, and who during that time failed to build anything of consequence or adopt the wheel. After the european and asians generously attempted to educate and civilize the tribes they have been rewarded with fatuous claims that the effort was genocide. This is what will be celebrated at the new BC museum, and this is why Horgan NDP-NFG must waste $1,000,000,000.
      I would also expect that the great socialist covid debacle will be “interpreted” as some wonderful success.

      1. Wonderful mentality. The province of B. C. is broke, but it has to spend a billion dollars to remind whites that they never should have set foot there.

        Meanwhile, the bridge across the Peace River at Taylor is falling apart, being more than 60 years old and in pretty rough shape. As well, the South Taylor Hill section of the Alaska Highway needs to be upgraded all the way to the top. The first 2 km on the way down are treacherous at best, particularly in winter. Those two projects alone would be worth the price of a new museum.

        Oh, but I forgot: that’s in the Peace River block, the land of deplorables…..

  6. If Trudeau actually wanted trees to plant there are hundreds of nurseries across Canada that could have accommadated him. You have to order them, they don’t have millions of trees just lying around. The forestry companies have been planting trees for 50+ years. Maybe they could have helped him out. Pointed him in the right direction. More mindless virtue signalling aimed at the mindless urban voters that wouldn’t know a tree if they ran into one.
