@Newsweek, April 11th – A government agency says it is alarmed by the arrest of journalist Vladimir Kara-Murza, who has been a vocal critic of new Russian censorship efforts.

Project Veritas, April 13 – Project Veritas announced today that Apple and Google came forward and provided documents showing that President Biden’s Department of Justice issued nine secret subpoenas to them for multiple Project Veritas journalists’ private information. The subpoenas and warrants even extended to the journalists’ security detail.

    1. Develop informants on the security team for future use.
    2. Location software to determine PV targets so advance notice can be issued.

    PV isn’t stupid. I’m sure their journalists don’t take their personal phones on assignment and now, likely, communicate differently. Not so with their security, however. But, at the end of the day there is no legal authority to hold the DOJ accountable. And, partisan judges do what they are told to do.

  8. With this Project Veritas and Musk’s offer to buy Twitter the deep state shenanigans and censorship by the media and big tech are getting a lot of exposure. The question is whether the US public gives a damn.

    A significant number of activists are pro censorship and seem to like to have their news coverage manipulated. Until the silent majority starts to wake up and make some noise, nothing will change.

    Let’s see if the Republicans have the balls to make this a campaign issue.
