  1. For some in NATO, it’s better for the Ukrainians to keep fighting, and dying, than to achieve a peace that comes too early or at too high a cost to Kyiv and the rest of Europe.

You quote that like there’s something wrong.

Of course it’s better for Ukraine to fight than to accept a peace that is a surrender; that emboldens and enriches a Russia that threatens Europe. They’ve already stopped “Special Military Operation” Mark I, let’s do everything sensible to help them stop the upcoming Mark II.

Do everything to help Russia humble itself.

    1. Yeah, not letting NATO, the WEF and the EU in is “surrender.”
Its just a policing action on the part of Russia.

    1. Just curious … ? Has NATO and the USA empowered Ukraine to remove all sanctions as part of their negotiations? Or will Western nations continue to use Ukraine as a proxy for their war with “homophobe” Putin.

  2. It’s not Russia that needs humbling. The EU could use a good bitch-slapping however, and NATO. But the country that really does need humbling is the US, a rogue nation with a record of invading countries and creating humanitarian crisis that’s second to none. There’s an evil empire on planet Earth all right, and it ain’t Russia.

    1. I’m personally ashamed to have EVER sided with the Neocon GOPes … which I did for a period of time. I was an early adopter of Trump … but I had NO IDEA just how utterly corrupt the Neocon GOPes actually are. Or how murderous they are.

      1. I agree Kenji, a very rude awakening, but an awakening nevertheless!
Quite a few eyes have been opened in the last few years.

  3. PJF
What would Russia want with Europe other than it buy its commodities?

Ukraine keeps fighting is not a benefit to Ukraine.

Google search historical maps of Ukraine. Ukraine is not and has never been a homogeneous entity, There are Ukranians, Romanians, Russians, Ruthenians, Poles, Belorussians. Check out the linguisitic maps too.

I get the impression that eastern europe was like canada where people came and carved a chunk out of the wilderness and it was a long way from Prague Warsaw, Berlin or St. Petersburg

    1. What would Russia want with Europe other than it buy its commodities?

Ask Poland. And Finland. They’re not under any twatty nuanced delusions.

Ukraine is not and has never been a homogeneous entity . . .

There are very few true ethno states. If that’s the standard, Russia can invade everywhere.

    1. Remember back when…
      “Hold the Line.”
Was taking a bullet from another musket?
Ah, the good old military history.

  4. It doesn’t matter what anybody in NATO thinks is better.

Russia is self-sufficient in food and energy.

And she has more than enough atomic weapons to remove the West as a meaningful military threat to Russia for a thousand years.

Russia will win. The only question is when and how.

Russians have nothing to gain from a peace in which Russia ceases to exist. They have no interest in a world in which Russia has ceased to exist.

The globalists will never accept the right of Russia to exist.

And Russia is running out of reasons to not act accordingly.

This is not Russia’s fault. This is ours. We had ample opportunity to remove our own globalist tyrants, which we did not do.

Now Russia must do it for us—the very last favour we can ever expect from the Russian people.

    1. If Russia had any interest whatsoever in ridding the west of its globalist tyrants, Soros and Schwab would be dead by now.

      1. Killing Soros and Schwab would have done no good by itself. There would have been fifty men in line to replace them.

It’s true. The Kremlin has done far too much in the past to appease the globalists. No more.

      2. HoHo
Schwab’s top guy is worst than schwab himself, and he lives in Israel , teaches in a Uni there, Zeneskyy is a jew, just you can’t point that out to right wingers, as their collective guilt for the holocaut then causes them angst .

        1. I don’t think a practicing Jew plays piano with his penis, or would ever entertain such a stunt but he claims that heritage. I’ll have to let Jews decide for themselves on the issue.
My opinion, as a non Jew, is that the man wears his religion like a cloak, easily cast off in private.

          1. Is Jew an ethnicity or a religion?
In my books, an ethnic Jew is still Jewish, even if he doesn’t practice the religion.
The holocaust was against ethnic Jews.

          2. No gym, I said he wears his religion like a cape, and HiHo,yes, I don’t consider Jew a race and neither does Judaism, I would assume, or they’re going to have to make an exception for Ethiopian Jews, not to be confused with the Black Israelites.
Also, I’m not responsible for what the Germans thought, or what the Germans did to the six million Jews, or to the homosexuals, or the blacks, or the German/blacks, or to any of the other eight million they murdered.
But if you wish to cast aspersions, look to no more than your fellow Canadians, who were perfectly happy sending the St.Louis and her passengers back and who whole heartedly agreed with the liberal minister’s ” one Jew, one too many” stance.
That’s a stain on Canada, but hardly mine alone.

          3. No I’m not responsible for the past and neither is anyone else here. We are responsible only for our own actions, not those of our grandparents or even our parents

          4. Greg:
            I’m not casting aspersions.
I think Jew is an ethnicity.
I wish them no harm, I even kinda like them, givin’ us Einstein and so forth.
As far as I’m concerned, as soon as you join a club, we get to make fun of it. Any club that can’t handle being made fun of must die. That is what true freedom means…walking into a fight you know you’re gonna lose is courage, etc.

    2. Russian nuclear war would end Russia. Ivan, Russia’s people and industry is far more concentrated than America’s. One Trident would wipe out every significant city in Russia.

      1. It would end every nation.
Oh, and one Trident can’t hit Moscow and Vladivostok, you liar.
The west will fragment, if we’re lucky.

  5. Why don’t we give Ukraine enough military crap so that the Russians have to level the whole country. Then we can negotiate a tie.

    1. HoHo
I’m booked to fly over there, and will ask my friend her opinion on non-practicing Jews, to see if she agrees with that sentiment. She’s Lutheran relgious wise.

      1. Now matter how many people think the moon is made out of cheese, it will never be so.
Objective reality exists, just like natural rights do.

  6. All eyes on Mariupol.
The Azov Battalion have retreated to the vast steel plant Azovstal. The Russians could flatten it but have not.
So far two desperate Ukrainian helicopter sorties have been flown: we’re talking highly skilled pilots flying below radar at night(currently no moon. The first was at least five helicopters which landed: two were downed after take off, one crashed in the sea, the other on land where some survivors were retrieved by Russian forces. The later run involved two helicopters which were downed on approach. That’s a huge sacrifice! Who or what are they desperately trying to evacuate? NATO advisors? UK? US? The Ukraine has refused a humanitarian corridor out of the plant which the Russians would be able to search.
Re Bucha: Please note the Pentagon says it has too little evidence to confirm the atrocities, the UK has prevented an independent inquiry and a war crimes investigator from the ICC, currently in Ukraine has NOT been dispatched to the site.

  7. Russia is doomed

Russia can mostly undoom itself by getting out of Ukraine, and completely undoom itself by stopping being assholes.

Since I bear no illwill to Russia beyond making it suffer the consequences of its misbehaviour, I earnestly hope (but despair) that Russia can change.

    1. And who should Russia adjust its train of thought for? Globalhomo? The real problem the globalists have with Russia is that the rain bow flag doesn’t fly over the Kremlin and the white Russians haven’t been forced to kneel to St George Floyd and BLM worship. We are the ones who have to undoom our selves. Zelinsky the mongel Turk Khazar Jew by religion only will sacrifice as many Ukrainians for the WEF.

        1. Do you work for Disney, or Biden, or Gillette, or Pfizer, or the Turd, or Boris, or…
          Man oh man.

    2. Why should Russia change? The US will never change, and it’s a greater threat to world peace than Russia.

      1. Yet somehow communist Cuba still commies its thing less than a hundred miles off the coast.

I suppose now the batshit left has moved on to corrupting children, the F@ck Amerikkka!!! mantle is to be taken up by the batshit right.

        1. Specious, and utterly stupid argument re: Cuba. The sort of argument a leftist would make. Not that the US didn’t try Cuba on back in JFK’s day. But the list of countries invaded and ruined by the US during the 20th and 21st century is long and bloody. Let’s just pick some examples. Did you know slave markets returned to Libya after US-led NATO bombed the Ghadaffi government out of existence? Or what about all the US-engineered coups in Latin America and the Caribbean? The hard right dictators installed and kept in power? How about the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis killed by the US in what was the dumbest, most futile war in American history? What about the US using drones to blow up wedding parties in the Middle East? Ukraine is just the latest installment of the stupid neo-con cabal that runs DC. Anyone who trusts the US deserves everything they get.

  8. Yep. Completely understandable from the perspective of any former Soviet Republic and the Nordic countries. None want the Russians at their throats again. And NATO doesn’t want a renewed Russian power on its eastern front. Ukraine being stuck in the middle is an unfortunate reality and it has not played its cards well the last 20 years. If they were smart, they’d be phoning up the Jordanians for tips on how to manage being wedged between foes.

  9. The world seems to be aligning itself into 2 camps with the Americans on one side, the Russians on the other and China in the middle. Interesting that the world’s two most populist countries – China and India – aren’t taking sides.

  10. War is not just profitable but a suitable distraction.

We are only now returning to Covid fear p0rn after “relaxing” some rules.

    1. Yup, we are being told that it’s Covid that’s lockdowns in China are based on…by mainstream media.
Too many other factors are currently happening that our politicians don’t want you to know.
Ya racist bastard…Colonists…Non-bitting the musket shot rebel.

    2. Yeah, Putin is just “distracting” his people with a war.
Compared to the west, the man is a saint.

      1. Jojo, I am sure that the situation in China is far worse than reported and may not even have anything to do with Covid.

Hiho, no, Putin is just as craven and morally corrupt as everyone else. He just got too greedy for the greedier masses.

  11. Amazing how you people can pull some wild and weird totally fabricated shit from out your assholes about the situation in Ukraine.
