  7. TIKhistory has some amazing on-line history lessons on Fascism and Nazism. The parallels of the politics during the period of years between the world wars and that of present day politics is eye-opening, particularly the all-encompassing socialist world-view held by the electorate and politicians then and now. All the same left-wing, dogma-laden incompetence is on display today, recreating familiar, well known problems that lead to the destruction of economies and eventually war.

    Also, if you are one of the “Nazis were right-wing” crowd, the first 3 1/2 minutes of this particular video – one in a series on the history of the Weimar Republic (a Republic which all my hard left NDP buddies gush over, or at least the ones who actually read a little history) – are particularly revealing of this leftist lie.       1. I am not optimistic, but I am less pessimistic every day. I think over the last week Ukrainian odds of an actual military victory went up from about 20% to 30% maybe 35%.*

        The mass arrests of Ukrainian patriots in occupied by Pootnista subhumans territories are horrifying. In areas conquered by Siberians, Ukrainians need to stop demonstrating and protesting as if they were living in a civilized society or as if that mattered to Pootin or to the animals that occupy them. Those Ukrainians who are known by name to occupiers need to be very careful. In occupying areas resistance need to go underground. Target Pootinista and target collaborators. Let no collaborator be safe. Target individual soldats on the streets. Leave a corpse and disappear.

        Also borrow a page from the book written by European resistance movements of WWII. Shave heads of all whores who sleep with russians. When possible tattoo or brand with hot iron the word “whore” on their foreheads.

        *Russian odds at long term permanent success were always 0%, but that does not mean that they will not kill millions while trying for a decade or two.

          The last of my rant is the Canadian Military dressed like Christmas trees in green camouflage in a desert engagement where everything is usually dry or dead.
          Pretty easy to pick off in the day time and at night, everyone has infrared scopes or other night devices that makes anyone stand out.

          Time will sort the truth out unless our politicians completely close what little reality we have left.

            So far we haven’t seen a major Ukrainian counter offensive. And that may be tricky. Ukrainians seem to have optimized from the start at a defensive scenario. Their preferred tactic seems to be to bleed the Siberians. Their strategy is to bleed Siberians until Siberians give up. This is not an optimal strategy to win grand battles, but it is a strategy that worked many times in asymmetric warfare.

            Tactically Ukrainians have two things going for them.
            1. Excellent understanding of Pootinista military doctrine. They have studied it meticulously and figured out how to exploit its weaknesses.
            2. They have spend last eight years listening to NATO advisors who have amassed a wealth of experience from Assholistan, Iraq, Syria etc. Those people studied every tactic that worked against them for the last decades and what did not work. And they have passed on all that knowledge on Ukrainians

            Take 1 and 2 together, add fanatical resolution of Ukrainian populace, mixed in some lessons from Croatian war of independence … and the drunken slobbering bear ends up with his dick firmly stuck in a hornets’ nest.

            So stupid, so avoidable, but then again it is russia we are talking abut.

            Look, like I said, the odds of an outright Ukrainian victory are IMHO still well bellow half, but they are slowly improving.

            No matter what the result russia will be hurt and I do not expect Pootin to survive another year. Not just survive as president but survive stealing oxygen.

          2. Also regrading IR sensors. Russian ones seem to be extremely bad or the Siberians operating them have no clue how to use them.           3. One bad thing about having so many NATO Alllies in one area, they have to be in total coordination with each other and communicating they’re moves or EVERYONE WILL BE SHOOTING EACH OTHER’S EQUIPMENT.

            Not a very well organized system as we’ve already seen with the Afghanistan disaster of politicians running crap that they don’t know to do.

          4. It does not matter if they are from different countries, it matters if they are integrated. And NATO forces are much better integrated than russian. In terms of C3 NATO rules supreme. One of the reasons why Ukrainians are being so effective are the Sentrys, Global Hawks, River Joints, JSTARS etc feeding Ukrainians intel in real time. I would not be surprised if most of the time, Ukrainian forces had better situational awareness than Pootinista.

      All important Civilian and Military Ports and Transit Hubs neutralized or destroyed

      Electricity:

      Still keeping these Nuclear plants running.
      In a normal war, they’d be destroyed or dismantled but this isn’t normal tactics of a war.

      Roads:

      All Roads east of the Line Koroshen-Zythomir-Vinitsa-Yampil neutralized or under fire control of artillery and VVS. All Roads west of this line are at least under fire control of VVS, and/or standoff weaponry.

        I take my cues from what my work colleague told me of his days as a Russian Army conscript. He is not surprised in the least about how poorly the Russians have been in Ukraine so far.

      But to answer your question. Ukrainian artillery is largely towed and a lot of SP mounts are shorter ranged than russian. Both are very vulnerable to counter battery fire and air strikes, towed units especially. They have some more modern stuff but that much. Also, they did hit some troop concentrations and some airfields on russian soil with short range ballistic missiles

    5. They definitely have. They hit the Millerovo airfield with a Tochka. They’ve also hit a couple spots just into Belarus. They have around 100 of them but they will not be wasted. You have to be sure the Intel is correct, that it will actually hit the target (air defence), and that there isn’t something more valuable to hit inside the country.

      We haven’t seen much Tochka use which makes you go hmmm.
