“You’re going to lose people’s focus,” Kerry frets. “You’re going to lose big-country attention because they will be diverted, and I think it could have a damaging impact”

“Impact”?

Did the global moralist Kerry mean by “impact” the over 650 Russian missiles that impacted Ukrainian buildings and tore apart children?

Are Russian soldiers losing their green “focus”? When Putin threatens nuclear war is he merely “diverted”? Would letting off a few nukes be “damaging” to the human environment?

Climate-change moralists love humanity so much in the abstract that they must shut down its life-giving gas, coal, and oil in the concrete. And they value humans so little that they don’t worry in the here and now that ensuing fuel shortages and exorbitant costs cause wars, spike inflation, and threaten people’s ability to travel or keep warm.

  3. One of the startling things about the Biden administration is that they can’t stop talking. Eventually they have said so much that it is apparent how insane they are. Kerry is the best example of this. Equally startling is their inability to learn. Biden fails to note the obviously suicidal behavior of Germany, who gave Russia leverage over Western Europe via natural gas supplies, and now seeks to give Iran and Venezuela the same leverage, relative to the US. This entire administration couldn’t be trusted to operate a daycare facility for an afternoon; but at least there’s no more mean tweets.

      Once again … VDH falls in lockstep with the chorus of anti-Putin, pro-War hysteria and propaganda emanating from EVERY media outlet … esp. Fox News.

      a). There is NO fuel shortage. The only place I’ve seen a gas line is at COSTCO … because they are selling gas $1.00/gal. cheaper than anywhere else. Who has been turned-away at the pump? Has fuel demand spiked or cratered? No.
      b). The exorbitant cost is due ENTIRELY to Wall Street speculation based on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine … not the other way around. Wall Street is funding Putin’s War.

      I honestly expect much clearer thinking and analysis from VDH. But when you’re deep in the bag with the willfully ignorant anti-Putin hysteric’s … you lose your mind. What is VDH willfully ignorant of? He refuses to analyze Putin’s invasion from Putin’s vantage point of; an expanding NATO, US corruption of Ukraine, and the decided loss of Ukraine as a buffer State. VDH will do himself a favor by re-studying the Cuban Missile Crisis and applying the same Real-Politic to Russia.

      Come on VDH … you’re better than this. You’re smarter than this. Who or what has gotten to you? I have my own theory … which is VDH has become a “Never -again- Trumper” … and doesn’t want to be associated with anyone who rightfully called Putin’s TIMING to invade Ukraine as “genius”. Genius to use the most feckless, disorganized, and cowardly administration in USA History.

Isn’t this how urban guerrilla warfare works? Have the Ukrainian Resistance fighters forewarned the women and children that they will be shooting from the windows of their apartment blocks?

He doesn’t give a damn about the Ukrainians who are dying, the war in Ethiopia, Yemen and Afghanistan, the Uighurs, the slaughter of Christians, the drug war in Mexico and on and on. What reporting is done on that? Almost nothing. Their green agenda is all that matters. Who cares if a few million die from starvation and cold? Just a bump on the road to their supposed utopia.

    The claim made is that the oil industry will not rapidly invest in expanding production because the industry has become inherently more conservative in its nature, and not because of regulatory constraints issued by the Brandon administration. No mention is made of the fact that the industry’s conservative nature is a direct result of government’s relentless attacks on the industry and its products over the past two decades; attacks based on horribly flawed science generated by researchers funded by the government and directed to the conclusion that the government wants.
