  2. Viva Frei is a treasure. His totally un-censured hands-on coverage of the truckers’ protest made it clear to anyone who cared to look that the vile characterizations by Trudeau and his lackey media friends were thoroughly false. The protesters were incredibly disciplined and relentlessly peaceful. The cops on site consistently and repeatedly confirmed this. They were also a very diverse lot.

    We must never forget that the politicians and the press know they are lying. The cowards in parliament who knowingly support a corrupt leader do not deserve forgiveness.

  4. I don’t understand the purpose of the order. They already had laws on the books that dealt with the horns. You can find it under By-law No.2017-255. Additionally, they have street blocking by-laws which tie into safety laws reflective of the fire code.

    They didn’t need the order. They could have arrested all violators without issuing it. I suppose it was just a way to initiate Federal intervention and open up the resources available and provide Feds jurisdiction (opening up the door for the improper application of the Emer. Act).

  9. If you want to read the Court Injunction that Viva Frei is discussing, the link is below. The injunction prohibited the sounding of “air horns and train horns”; that’s all. The judge did not declare that the protest was illegal; in fact he said the opposite:

    “THIS COURT ORDERS that, provided the terms of this Order are complied with,
    the Defendants and other persons remain at liberty to engage in a peaceful,
    lawful and safe protest.”

      1. CM: The judge who issued the injunction obviously disagrees. He could have ordered the protest to end if it was not “peaceful, lawful and safe”, but he did not.

    Violating an injunction by continuing to blast noise at night and block streets. Conspiring to overthrown the lawfully-elected government.
    Refusing to move vehicles blocking major roads, including fire routes, after being lawfully told to do so by the police,.
    Participating in an activity that caused serious harm to the people who live in Ottawa’s Centretown (by the use of noise and intimidation).
    Those are the over-arching offences. Not to mention defecating and urinating on the National War Memorial, dancing on the tomb of the unknown soldier, fowling the streets of down Ottawa with human filth and litter, robbing and abusing the homeless and the people who sever them, vandalism of at least two coffee shops that had rainbow flags, intimidation, including rape threats, against Centretown residents.
    The specific allegations are in the informations laid against your pals Pat (Skippy) King and Tamara (the Zombie) Lich. You don’t need to put your fake lawyer to work, drafting his nonsense “legal opinion”.

      Do you actually believe this? Really? Look at the hours of coverage by Viva Frei. He spoke with hundreds of people, pro and con. None of them reported the nonsense in your ungrammatical screed. Viva regularly spoke with the police who denied the crap you are spouting in real time.

      According to the police on site, crime went down in the area, veterans sympathetic to the protesters provided 24/7 honour guard for the War Memorial, the unhoused were fed, etc., etc.

Prove that anyone was threatened, and don’t use Mandicino’s lies, basing his claims on what he said was general information he got from Law Enforcement, as a reference.

Since then, the tomb has been adorned by flowers from the truckers daily, until the city barricaded the entire site. The vets would have none of it, and took down the fencing with the promise to police on site that they would protect the war memorial. No arrests have been made as a result of that incident.

The “Robbing and abusing of homeless” is particularly shameful slander, since the truckers gave so much food to the homeless shelters, they asked the truckers to stop, because the shelters had no place to store the food.

      Not opinion… FACT. READ THE INJUNCTION! And what were the charges against the organization leaders? Mischief! Canadian justice is a funny thing. Lich and King were denied bail, even though there was no violence, and no one was hurt until the jackboots showed up, but an Antifa activist mowing down anti-mandate protestors in Winnipeg gets bail.

    You can’t have members of the police commission using their own eyes and ears to gather facts and arrive at opinions.

    A smarter move would have been to fire all of the members who didn’t go and see for themselves.
