The World Is In The Very Best Of Hands

Richard Fernandez’s Twitter feed is a good follow for updates on the Ukraine. Posobiec, too.

  1. So now the Putin has intel info that will enable him to identify sources and methods… Delivered by the Brandon administration!

And how does this not meet the definition of Treason??? (perhaps, except that we are not “technically” in a state of war with either China or Russia).

    1. Dave….I was gonna say the same thing

      TREASON.
      No question about it.
What Moron in the US admin thought given China Any Fking intelligence was a “good” idea.?? That simply blows my mind.!!

  2. China has no reason to get involved in Ukraine and every reason to give Putin a free hand.

    1. Unlike your typical western politician, Putin cannot be bought, co-opted or intimidated. He is just as willing to destroy China as he is the Empire of Lies if that’s what it takes to secure Russian sovereignty.

    2. Moreover, if Russia succeeds in mortally wounding the Empire, the CCP judges that this will make it easier for the CCP to take over the dominion of the world in the Empire’s place.

    3. Ukraine itself, in its current form, is just another unremarkable Third World hellhole of no strategic importance to China whatsoever.

Russian-Chinese relations are based on mutual respect (neither has anything to gain from a war) and some common interests (both see the Empire as a threat).

Alliance? Never. China has no allies, just vassals. And Russia will never be China’s vassal.

    1. Clearly Major was bringing the collective IQ too high and they had to get rid of him.

But credit when credit due, they did it humanely, and did not Arkansided it with a moving van.

  3. Ukraine is being used as cannon fodder in bigger battle.

I’m guessing that despite being elected President of Ukraine, zelensky was handcuffed by deep state (sound familiar), he was doing his best to avoid war but the deep state was intent on advancing their agenda.

Time ran out and Putin pulled the trigger.

    Agree with awful above.

    1. You’re guessing wrong. There was nothing Zelensky or anyone else could do to avoid the conflict. Pootin’s plans for Ukraine is to reduce her to a puppet state status like Belarus. Any excuse will do. He is not even trying hard to manufacture one. That’s why he is talking about “denazification”. Power abhors a vacuum.

      1. This wouldn’t have happened under Trump. The pipeline would have been completed and Canada would be supplying US with more barrels than Russia is supplying us with. We’d be drilling on federal lands, gas would be cheaper, both countries would be better off and don’t forget, the US wouldn’t have required that vaccine mandate to enter the US. Plus, it’s harder to mount an invasion when you’re only getting $45 a barrel instead of $100.

Israel’s pipeline would be a go and Nord 2 wouldn’t be a go. Trump told Germany, but they want the bear. And Burisma might have seen the light of day.

        1. Fair enough, it would not have happened under Trump. But once Trump was gone and Captain Alzheimer got put in his place it was inevitable

    2. Not sure I agree on Zelensky.

Like our own failed actor in authority, Zelensky has a flair for melodrama. Unfortunately, real people are getting killed over his refusal to admit he’s beaten or that the Empire has written him off along with his make-believe country.

Did he want to avoid war? Does it still matter? As of now Zelensky’s only coherent goal appears to be orchestrating a mass murder-suicide that can be pinned on Putin. Jonestown writ large.

      1. “Unfortunately, real people are getting killed over his refusal to admit he’s beaten …”

Nope, their refusal to admit they are beaten. Brave Ukrainians understand what russia has in store for them. russia has done it to them many times before. They’d rather die on their feet than be starved in a gulag. And so far they seem to be punching well above their weight. Mongol loses are much higher than expected. Mongol inbred incompetence, mandatory alcoholism and low IQ are also a factor …

        1. The Russian armed forces are a genuinely diverse bunch. The Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, really does have Siberian Mongol ancestry on his father’s side (his mother was a white Russian).

But I was the Chechens were genuine Caucasians from the Caucasus. No Mongols they.

          Muslims aren’t big drinkers either.

It is a delight, I confess, to see Muslims being convinced to hunt down and kill people who actually need killing for a change. Or would you rather Chechen jihadis be killing Canadians instead?

          1. Siberian Mongols all of them. Genes are irrelevant you Nazi idiot. What’s next? You’re going to start, measuring their noses to prove they are not Mongol? Culturally menially they are Siberian Mongols. And always will be.

I’d rather Chechen jihadist were killing Mongols and left humans alone.

  4. The world’s elite and our betters wanted Joe.

    Stolen elections have consequences.

    Good and hard.

    1. Agree. This is Realpolitik 101. Has Thucydides‘ ‘Peloponnesian War’ been replaced by CRT reading materials in the hallowed halls of power?

  5. Let’s not forget that Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley covertly contacted the Chinese to conduct his very own foreign policy before the Nov 2020 election. Which brings up a question I hadn’t thought until I typed that out. How did Milley know that Biden would win?

  6. , the best of hands”!

“Ukraine and Russia Officials Negotiating a Meeting – Biden Administration Tells Zelenskyy to Stop, Only U.S. Permitted to Negotiate With Russia
    February 25, 2022 | sundance | 366 Comments

Amid an intense conflict continuing, the government of Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the government of Russian President Vladimir Putin are in negotiations for a meeting. However, the U.S. State Department does not want Zelenskyy and Putin to negotiate an end to hostilities.”

  7. I pray that the Yukes blow up the pipelines hauling Russian gas to Germany and all those other stalwart allies who rushed to Ukraine’s aid when needed.

  8. This is our first “social media” war. I’ll have a hard time believing anything from anywhere until days are past for confirmation, but this I believe.
This the same Milley who claimed he would tip off China if Trump made a move? And the media thought that was okey-dokey? Why that man doesn’t have a bullet in his head is why we’ll never win a war.

  9. This is just a symptom of who the analysts are in the various alphabet agencies and (newly) MI. They are now comprised, mostly, of Ivy league academics. The same ilk that is destroying education migrated into the agencies. It’s why the analysts are consistently surprised and invariably wrong on just about every foreign policy action taken. It’s why most terrorists on our soil are “known” before they do something heinous, yet no action is taken to assure that the heinous act doesn’t occur. It’s why it was so easy to politicize the agencies.

Those advising on foreign policy are (for lack of a better term) idiots. They make those decisions based on their own narcicistic world view, and rarely advise properly, intelligently, or realistically. It would no surprise me to learn that the State Dept., CIA, MI, and the current administration support turning over the Ukraine to Russia. It would not surprise me to learn that they, also, support turning over a number of the Baltic states to Russia as well. It makes them relevant. If you really want to know the most egregious act by the Trump administration (according to these agencies)…it would be that he fought against this sort of expansion using the economy and not the military and their various cheerleaders. Even the State Dept. took a supporting role….and the career government bureaucrats could not let that continue. For one reason…it worked. More importantly, it made them obsolete and secondary.

  10. Blink, let us be honest what kind of idiot would trust the Biden regime via negotiating peace? His entire administration is one giant shite show.

  11. Minor perhaps, but irksome: Ukraine is a rough country, but they are a nation. With a name, Ukraine. When people use the phrase The Ukraine, that is an expressly Russian formulation. As when an American refers to The North East, or The South. Or a Canadian refers to The Maritimes. People saying The Ukraine are insulting Ukrainians, unknowingly, (though Russians are well aware of the implied insult).

    1. yeah “THE Ukraine” is an insult But THE United States, THE Phillipines, THE Netherlands, and THE United Kingdom isn’t.
