How long will it take for the roadblocks to go up and non-residents prohibited from getting into Ottawa? My guess is that may be what comes next.
I’m pretty tired of hearing about the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, as if it’s a good thing, worth celebrating. The government does not grant us freedoms; it should take away the minimal number to avoid a state of nature, and explain why to our satisfaction. If you don’t get that, join the EU.,
What better place to visit than the capital of Canada. The downtown has a particular working class feel to it. Lots of good food, rides, and an electric night life.

A longer journey than most, I flew from my home in Mexico to NYC, and then drove 8 hours to Ottawa to spend the weekend with the Freedom Protesters.
Ended up spending Friday and Saturday night in my rental car, as some government agency had block booked all the hotels for at least 100km out.
That said, so glad I made the trip. Everything I hoped and then some. Even danced in a Conga line – and I don’t dance. Ever.
